Bilateral upper and lower blepharoplasties (baggy eye correction)
ORIGINAL POST
Highly Thought of By Medical and Nursing Staff
WORTH IT
I first came across Mr Marando as a nurse working at one of the hospitals he operated at. He was highly thought of by the hospital ward and operating theatre staff, so when I first considered having bilateral upper and lower blepheroplasties (baggy eye correction) carried out, he was the first person who came to mind. I did consult a current colleague to ask if there were any non surgical options I should consider, her reply was no, I should contact Mr Marando, even though she was unaware that I knew him. I am absolutely delighted with the results of my surgery and his care and communication post-op has been faultless. I would recommend paying close attention to his post op instructions as it is really important to take it VERY easy for the first week in particular, and don't expect to be back to normal activities till the end of the second week or longer for vigorous exercise. I recommend audio books, gentle walks and sunglasses. I can honestly say that I had NO pain from the moment I came round from the anaesthetic. I did have normal and expected swelling, bruising, tightness and some irritation from day 1 post op but no pain and any discomfort was well worth the results. This was my treat to me using my NHS pension lump sum, so I don't have money to throw around, but I think this was money very well spent!
