How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Beware and Please Read
I had my upper eyelids done by Dr. Neufeld two years ago. One eye was pulled tighter than the other resulting in my one eye looking more open than the other. But the worse consequence of the surgery was it damaged the nerve to my right eye causing my eye not to close completely at night. This causes severe dryness. I’ve seen countless specialists to try and resolve this but I’m told revision surgery is the only answer. I read all the positive reviews about Dr. Neufeld before deciding on him, but I’ve learned positive reviews are not to be trusted. I would suggest selecting someone who is referred by a friend or has first hand experience with the surgeon. After the surgery, Dr. Neufeld had no compassion for what I was going through. I felt he just wanted me to go away, which I eventually did, since he denied any problem and wasn’t going to do anything to help me. My eye situation has impacted my life greatly. I can no longer read for any length of time and had to retire early from my job. I must put tape and lubricant on my eye everybody night to avoid drying out my cornea. I was told by specialists there already is some damage. I’ve gotten used to my uneven eye appearance, but it makes me sad and mad to think I paid a lot of money to end up this way. I offer my story as a warning. Not to say this will happen to everyone or even many but it can happen. I wish I’d never had it done and wish I picked a Dr. who at least had some compassion and care for what was a terrible situation for me.
