How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Beautiful, Symmetrical Results
I am only 1 week post-op, and I sincerely am overjoyed with my results.
For some background context, I originally got an upper bleph from a top eye doctor who specializes in upper bleph eyelid surgeries (for health purposes) about 8 years ago - this was because my grandmother needed to get hers done, and I figured this was my opportunity to get mine done after having wanted it for so long.
It of course seem obvious to say now, but I was severely naive to the fact that doctors that do these procedures for health reasons and plastic surgeons who do it for aesthetic reasons are worlds and worlds apart.
After my initial surgery, I cried so much because I was so unhappy with the results of a procedure I had wanted forever. More time than I would like to admit went towards looking at plastic surgery instagram pages, and that is how I found Dr. Kwak. His photos of not just eyelid surgery, but so many amazing revisions told me that this was the right doctor to trust for my procedure.
His team sent extensive documentation for pre- and post-op, and I have been strictly following them - and reaping the reward of a beautiful result as an outcome. You can tell by the level of detail they provide that the practice is very invested in the science behind how the body heals.
It would be remiss of me not to mention, this procedure is not comfortable! But all throughout, as Dr. Kwak is checking in with you and analyzing small details of your face, you can tell how much he wants to achieve that perfect result, and reminding myself of that helped me get through it. I definitely would recommend a friend coming to pick you up after the initial procedure (maybe with some ice cream or a pick me up).
Try not to cry - and follow the post-op!! Supplements, regular icing 20-min on + 20-min off, plus no alcohol, caffeine, etc. made a WORLD of difference. I already am out and about and feeling very confident in this subtle and natural difference in my face.
I asked the kind nurses many questions about aftercare and potentially starting to build a longer term relationship with Dr. Kwak. If I ever am considering other procedures, I’ll certainly check this office first to see if they offer it!
