I would not recommend Dr. Vrcek. I went to him with a chief concern of dark, hollow circles under my eyes and some lines in my cheeks (that he said was due to fluid). He convinced me that I needed a lower blepharoplasty with under eye chemical peel and festoon elevation. He showed me after pictures of other patients, whose cases were much more extreme then mine, and said these were the results that I should expect.
Immediately after surgery I knew something was seriously wrong. One eye was much smaller than the other. I went to his office the very next day to express my concern and he assured me everything would heal symmetrically. Fast forward 6 months, I have one eye that is significantly smaller than the other. I also still have dark, hollow circles under my eyes and lines in my cheeks. Dr. Vrcek has been extremely dismissive of any of my concerns. His recommendations are to have Botox done on the smaller eye every 3 months and to use hydroquinone under my eyes to help with the discoloration. I feel like more harm than good was done during my procedure. This was a huge waste of $8000 which he refuses to refund. Now I have to invest even more money in Botox and hydroquinone to attempt to camouflage his botch job. He doesn’t use a flash on his before photos and then uses a flash on his after photos to diminish discoloration and lines. He is not a good surgeon and not a very nice person. STAY AWAY.

Visible photos since the last ones uploaded were too zoomed in. At least admit when you make an error and attempt to make corrections. If you read all his 1 Star Google reviews, he always makes an excuse on why the patient is wrong. I do not recommend Dr. Vrcek.

Yes. I believe so. He removed too much of one lower lid and caused a huge asymmetry. The craziest thing is he would not admit he did anything wrong, he would not fix it and he wouldn't refund me to have someone else fix it. My surgery was 3/2023 - it has been 7 months. He said I would see my final results at 3 months. I just can't believe I paid $8000 and took off two weeks of work to heal just to look worse.

That sucks, he mess up my eyes really bad, now I started to have vision problems due to the surgery. Mine was on 12/21 and paid 6k. I regret gone to him.

can you believe Dr. Vreck deleted my review from google. and before that he denied his work.

I left this same exact review on google and it has mysteriously disappeared. People should be able to know the truth before having their face operated on. I’m glad RealSelf has an open and honest forum.

Hi I'm left with the same issue after lower bleph with another surgeon. Eye left hollowed and smaller. Enophthalmos (sunken eye). Sis you manage to find a surgeon to fix it? Please let me know who as I am desperately searching
