I am writing this letter concerning my experience with Dr. Donald Grove following my recent eyelid surgery.
I had been experiencing difficulty seeing because my eyelids were drooping over my eyes and causing vision problems. I am not someone who would normally consider surgery of any kind, but in this case it was necessary.
When I first saw Dr. Grove, he was incredibly kind and attentive as he evaluated what needed to be done to improve both my vision and my eyelids. He assured me that he would be able to help improve my situation. He was meticulous with his measurements and very thorough during the examination, which gave me great confidence in moving forward with the procedure.
During the surgery, I was under local anesthetic. I felt very comfortable and was aware of the extreme care and tenderness with which Dr. Grove performed the procedure. The surgery itself was very tolerable and I did not experience any discomfort.
I was absolutely elated afterward. I was amazed at how wonderful I felt and relieved at how simple the entire process had been for me. When I first saw myself after the surgery, I could hardly believe it—I looked like the old me again. I cried tears of joy.
In the days following the surgery there was some bruising and swelling, but nothing intolerable or unexpected. Even then, every time I looked in the mirror I was still overwhelmed by what I saw. I saw the person I used to see, and it was incredible to realize how much this surgery could positively affect how I feel about myself.
It truly felt like a shot in the arm for my confidence. Not only do I look like myself again, but I can also see the things I had been missing because my eyelids were drooping over my eyes.
Dr. Grove is an amazing human being—kind, compassionate, and highly professional. He has truly changed my outlook on life and my self-esteem. I have decided that it is time for me to get busy living. I feel energized and want to focus on being healthier and happier because of this experience.
Because of the wonderful results, I am now even considering addressing the issues under my eyes—something I never would have thought about before this surgery. I would only want Dr. Grove’s advice and services for any future procedures.
