Eyelid surgery 5 months ago for hooded eyelids - 100% happy

Wish I'd Done This Years Ago
WORTH IT
I had been unhappy with my hooded eyelids for quite some time before plucking up the courage to investigate surgery. To say I was petrified at the thought of the procedure is an understatement.
However, I honestly wish I had done this years ago. The difference it has made to my confidence and how I feel about my appearance is quite life changing. I actually didn't realise quite how much my eyelids had been impacting my confidence until after the result. I now feel comfortable to be seen without eye make up, which had not been the case beforehand.
From the initial consultation, I knew that I was in safe hands with Russell and trusted him immediately. Despite my fears about surgery, Russell went above and beyond to put me at ease and explain everything about the procedure. No question was too small or too silly, and it was obvious that he really cares about his patients.
On the day of the surgery Russell and the team were outstanding. Everything was exactly as he had explained beforehand, and I was taken care of wonderfully from start to finish. So much so, I actually found I wasn't frightened at all during the procedure. When I had questions post surgery, the team at the clinic were on hand to answer them, and Russell himself has gone above and beyond to ensure I am 100% happy with the result.
For anyone who like me, is scared of surgery but is unhappy with their appearance, I honestly can't recommend Russell enough. I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to go through with the treatment had he not been so patient and reassuring, and I'm absolutely over the moon with the result.
