WORTH IT
I don't even worry about my eyes at all anymore. I wear contacts, I look cute with eye makeup, and I have a lot more confidence than I used to have. My family and husband all said I didn't need to do it, that they didn't see a problem, but afterward they have all said that I look so much more relaxed, and that I look 'like I used to.' Go with Dr. Frankel.

Loving Results - About six weeks out

Adding some pictures. First two are in full makeup before surgery. The bottom picture is about a month out of surgery, no makeup. I had no blurry vision, no dry eye, no lower lid retraction. Zero complications, just redness and swelling, which I managed with Tylenol and cold compresses. If you're Covid conscious like me, Dr. Frankel is a good way to go - all my appointments were virtual until the actual surgery, and follow-ups have been virtual at my request. I can really see a difference, and everyone is telling me I look so well rested lol.

Beautiful results! I'm 2 wks out from upper/lower bleph. Upper looks great and healing nicely however I have large ridges under both eyes where my surgeon placed strong but dissolvable internal sutures (excess skin was removed) I'm very frustrated as was anticipating a smooth contour but it's far from that. Patience he says....uuuughhh. Did you experience that at all? You're quite young and likely did not have skin removed.

I didn't experience that, and didn't have skin removed. However, I got hyperpigmentation on my cheeks from the bruising, which I'm now using a bleaching cream for. I hope your issues have cleared - two weeks is still very early in the healing process.

I just had my eyes redone, Im turning 70, live in NY. Your eyes came out great! Youve got a great surgeon. I had my procedure 12/28 so Im almost 2 months out. My eyes came out great too, but feel tight.

I recently had an upper and lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Frankel under sedation. I'm only 10 days out, so I'll post pictures once the swelling and bruising is gone, but I can already really see a difference. A subtle, natural one, which is what I wanted. I went with Dr Frankel even though he didn't have any reviews on RealSelf because of his Instagram. His results make patients look refreshed and relaxed, and awake. When you look at full-face before and after photos on his page you can't always tell what a patient has had done, just that they look better in their after photo. That's what I wanted.
He's also smart and kind, and has a great support staff. Already planning to go with him for a lower facelift when finances allow.
