Best Eyelid surgeon
Dr Massry is a very compassionate doctor who helped fix my eyelid which had been used and abused by so many other doctors who weren't skilled at their job and didn't have my best interest at heart. I had flow all the way from Dubai just to see Dr Massry, I had my eyelids shortened by another doctor, but Massry's unique CHEL procedure was my last hope at regaining it. I recommend him to anyone with eyelid issues. I also recommend you to be very vigilant about other so called "top doctors", because there's a lot of functional risk involved with having surgery around the eyes. Do it once, and do it with the best !

Unfortunately my results didn't last, as of two months I realized I have eyelid retraction on one eye and my scar which the doctor tried to improve is "deformed", not the reaction I was hoping from a doctor but at least he was honest. I'm sorry I was happy about the results and I don't want to mislead anyone. Although Dr Massry is a great person and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff.

I’ve noticed that my skin is a lot more lax and puffy than it was before the midface lift and the fat transfer, I am planning to have the fat graft removed. I really feel disillusioned now just comparing my results, and I really wish I’ve never undergone this surgery. Moreover I’ve learned that a lot of his patients have this issue with the corners not touching the eyeballs which could have been prevented with an eyelid fixation technique. This also makes my eyes really dry and uncomfortable.

I was considering dr. Massry but this makes me hessitant. Do i understand correctly that you were happy with the initial results, but the retraction came back after a couple of months?

Yes i was really happy, even though my scarring was worse, I thought my eyelid issues have at least been gone but unfortunately I developed webbing which caused retraction again. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do to realistically improve it at the time being.

I did and I wish I never had this done. Looks terrible, hurts and was never explained the full risks. I now understand most people are dissatisfied with their results of fat grafting.i think fat grafting should be outlawed.

Hi. Did you ever have anything done to fix your retraction? I am having a similar problem 3 years after lower bleph :( Curious if you had anything done to fix yours? My eyes look similar to yours in the question that you asked about PDO threads. My eyes look better when I take my fingers and put them on the sides of my temples and gently pull upwards and outwards so I am looking into a temple lift to help support the outer corners. Please let me know if you'd had any progress with fixing your eyes. Thank you!

Extremely disappointed
The scar is very bad, eyelids are assymetrical, lagopthalmos, and to make matters worse the fat graft ruined the shape of my face. I deeply regret the surgery I had made 3 years ago.

My scarring and hollow lower lids thanks to my lower blepharoplasty with him get worse everyday.
