Full disclosure: This review is documenting the before to the final after, which will be Jan/Feb/Mar 2025.

After the consult, I scheduled the Eyebrow Hair Transplant surgery a week later. The staff and doctors and Dr. Bared are all great - No complaints.

You'll see in the Before photos that my eyebrows are comically thin. Poorly shaped and a wreck.

Dr. Bared outlined the frame of the brow to define where fine hairs were to begin with thicker hairs in the center.

Arrived at 6:30AM
Surgery began around 8:00AM - Face down for the grafting of hairs from back of scalp/neck area
Broke for lunch (they provided)
Returned to surgery 30 minutes later - Face up for hair placement.
Surgery completed around 2:30PM

I was offered a variety of pain relief options including IV sedation (sleep). I chose to remain awake with local anaesthesia. My pain tolerance is a 0, so looking back, I almost regret not getting the IV sedation, only because the anaesthetic process of needles going into the face was exceedingly uncomfortable. Not blaming anyone, it's just my experience. The procedure itself was painless because I was numb. Just the numbing process was very very very uncomfortable.

Staff was very calming, comforting, accommodating, friendly and helpful.

I was coherent after surgery and used a rideshare app to bring me home.

Meds:
* Hydrocodone for pain (I took 1, but almost didn't need it)
* Ambien for sleep (I took 1, but I sleep fine anyway, so won't take anymore)
* Antibiotic gel for my grafting area of scalp/neck
* Antibiotic pills

Pain:
Worst pain was the numbing part of the eyes. Probably a 8 or 9
Actual procedures: Grafting (0) Hair placement (0) <-- Painless
Hours later at home maybe a 1 at most.
Day 2: not 0 but definitely not a 1. no pain meds needed.

Bruising/Swelling: Day 1 and day 2. But not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Almost little swelling and minor bruising.

What happens next:
* Wait for hairs to fall out naturally
* Wait for new hairs to grow naturally, appearing around Jan/Feb
* Based on final outcome in Jan/Feb/Mar, evaluate for either additional grafting or keep as-is

I am satisfied with my decision and with the work of Dr. Bared and the team. So far so good. I will update this review through Winter of 2025.
