On the 11th of May I had tear trough treatment with a company called Flawless Cosmetic owned by Holly Spedding. One of their staff members named Rebecca Mulvanny who also works as a midwife part time injected the vobella filler in my right eye, I immediately felt a strong sense of pain. The injection felt like I had taken a direct blow to my eye. Rebecca placed the mirror in front of me and explained that she had put more filler in my right eye than my left.

Immediately following the treatment applied by Rebecca I paid Flawless Cosmetics £320 for the treatment I had received.

The results of this treatment have left me with an extreme amount of fluid build-up under my eye and a dark discoloration which almost looks like I have a black eye. I have suffered extreme pain up until this date. As a result, I have suffered and continue to suffer both physical pain as well as loss of amenity both physical and psychological. I have made personal adjustments to my social and domestic lifestyle that have caused me a tremendous amount of distress. I have also suffered financial losses relating to medical expenses and other out of pocket expenses I have incurred due to the injury, plus loss of earnings due to being unable to seek and obtain employment. Unfortunately I will need to have the fluid in my right eye surgically removed because of this.

Flawless Cosmetic have blocked me from their Instagram and left me with no compensation but instead a permanent puffy eye.

This company is luring young vulnerable, insecure girls into cosmetic treatments done by unprofessional people. It is dangerous and has not been certified by Save Face. I want to raise awareness of this company so people don’t make the same mistake as I did. It is now September 2019, 4 months after my treatment and I have had no after care and still haven’t been compensated. To compound matters, all your communications have been by way of Instagram and text message which I consider to be completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I have not been in contact with Rebecca Mulvanny since the tear trough treatment she applied which has also been frustrating and Holly Spedding is now ignoring my messages.
