Over a month out

So, I’m really happy the results. For me healing took almost a month. But the swelling wasn’t really visible to others after the 2nd week.

I also did facial acupuncture 4 weeks after to get the lymphatic system working and blood flowing in my face.

I got my compression tape removed 7 days later, but I was still quite swollen. They said it wasn’t typical. I was quiet concerned concerned bc I had a work presentation in a few days. The swelling finally went down yesterday and today. My under eye area is still sensitive to touch (not painful). Still slight pressure in my eye as well when I make certain moves.

I can begin working out in 2 days. Next appt is in 3 weeks.

5 DPO

I’m having issues loading clear pics. But, I’m still pretty swollen. No pain. The swelling spread to other parts of my face. My cheeks are huge. I was hoping the swelling would have been reduced more by now. I am icing now every 4hours. Thank goodness for these masks bc I can cover up the tape with the masks. The compression tape gets removed in 2 days.
