Lower bleph. Cheek lift, the good the bad and the ugly :/

I have given this one year and tried with all my might to be patient, sane and rational. I went to a board certified oculoplastic surgeon with amazing reviews and I personally know two of his past patients that had wonderful results.
I went in with the hopes that he could help with the cropping area under my eyes and some volume loss and darkness. It wasn't horrible by any means but I felt like I looked tired and just wanted to look refreshed. The doc convinced that I also needed a cheek lift so I agreed.
The survey went of but I had a pretty difficult recovery. First thing I saw was pretty serious asymmetry but I thought it might just be swelling. I had a lot of swelling and lot of bruising as well as raw skin from the CO2.
We ended up doing a revision to work on a drooping right eye and a very tight left eye about three weeks out. I saw a bit of improvement.
Due to the pandemic my follow up was cancelled. I called and sent photos about my continued issues and redness under my eyes and denting on cheeks as well as overfill and lumps from fat grafting about three -four months out. When he finally say me he dismissed all my concerns and and said he could balance the fat issues with filler and do laser on the redness for additional fees.
If my other concerns about my eye corners being rounded and waterline being flipped in at the edges had been addressed I may have felt differently but they were brushed aside.
I ended up having laser at another dr and it worked very well on the redness.
I decided to try again to get the doc to address the corners of my eyes and ptosis and also consulted with four other surgeons as well.
He agreed that they could be improved and said he would fix them and it would take about 30 minutes and hurried me out the door. I couldn't go in right away it a few months later asked if I could pay for a consultation to address my other concerns and I would be happy to pay to get some additional work done to address the other problems.
Fast forward to that appointment where he told me my eyes were fine and I didn't need them fixed and he couldn't even tell I had surgery. He was happy to do the other laser and filler work though. So here I am one year out and wondering if I am the crazy one. I'm still unhappy with my eyes and I'm embarrassed to be without glasses that hide the issues that developed after the surgery. I don't feel like I can get an honest answer from my family because they know how upset I am. Would love other opinions.

Hopefully the photos will load properly this time.
As stated in my original post the doctor told me that he couldn’t see anything different with the shape of my eyes and even denied that he could see my eyelashes growing inward. He also told me that if anyone else looks at it to tell them to contact him and he would tell them about my “ scarring issues that are a technical medical term that I wouldn’t understand” Well here is the proof that I was clearly gaslighted. I feel like I stayed calm and asked for a remedy or acknowledgment and neither was given.
I will be asking for compensation and if that is denied I will consider other actions.
This has been a major issue in my life. I wanted to look refreshed and instead I look freakish.

I'm so sorry this happened. I appreciate you posting your review so we can know who to avoid. I do hope this Dr. steps up and gives you compensation. Have you gone to Dr Harris for a consultation? To see if he could help?

Also, you're fortunate to have beautiful eyes to begin with and you still have beautiful eyes. I have heard this Dr is arrogant.

Thank you. I don't know if it is arrogance or a lack of humility or if they are the same thing. I think he is skilled in bed side manner and being positive and pleasant but does not want to hear or accept that there is anything less than perfection. The other doctors that have seen me are shocked that this happened with a board certified surgeon. They said this normally happens with unqualified doctors and they have to try and fix it, which is costly and not always successful. Unfortunately I am paying the price for his inability to face reality and take responsibility in multiple ways.

Hey there beautiful. I am so sorry that you are going through this, it is clear that the doctor took too much skin from your eyes, gave you abnormal contours, and changed your eye shape. Do not let him gaslight you, your perception is correct. The same thing happened to me with a VERY well known/famous eye surgeon on here, he also took no responsibility and didn't give damn that he hurt my eyes (tightness, redness, vision damage, and dry eye) and changed my eye shape for the worse. I went to one of the most highly rated oculoplastic surgeons and I still had a similar outcome to you, its not your fault. I wish I could take the pain away from you. What's sad is that these surgeons would have a better reputation if they actually validated patients and helped them when they royally screwed up our eyes, instead they gaslight, blame-shift, and skirt responsibility like a true narcissist. You are in my thoughts and please keep us updated, your reality is correct and your surgeon is full of shit.
