WORTH IT$11,400
I am a 36 year old mom of a 6 year old. I have lost 140 lbs through diet and exercise. I was left with a tremendous amount of loose skin. I am only 48 hours out, but I am thrilled with the results so far. The only downside was coming out of anesthesia. I threw up several times and they exhausted all efforts for anti nausea medication. I just had to ride it out. ??

I rented a recliner from Rent A Center for $100 for a month and that has saved me. I also put all necessary first aid items next to the chair. Start colace a few days before surgery.

Is the incision down your stomach needed for the hernia repair? Do they tell you how much weight was removed? Did you see a big difference in pant size?

I had a fleur de lis tummy tuck which involves a vertical incision to remove upper skin due to extreme weight loss. He removed 9-10 lbs of skin. I did go down in pant size, but nothing crazy. Maybe 2 sizes. I’m currently a 16. I would probably be smaller but my thighs are still big.

Thank you for getting back to me. My weight loss was about 111 lbs and I have had one doctor suggest an extended tummy tuck and the other said circular tummy tuck. But I also want my arms and breast done. I'm getting told only 2 weeks off work for all of it and that just seems like not enough time. Maybe I'm wrong.

You do look great! I'm excited to have mine done, I'm shooting for October.

You definitely need more time off. My mom did however go back to work in 2 weeks after her TT and breast lift.

Did you and your mom have your surgery in US or Mexico? I'm thinking Mexico.
