So I had a BBL December 2017 and there were a lot of flaws and Miss shaping very unhappy for the most part. There were a lot of flattened and parts on my buttocks. A huge indentation in the back of my thigh and many other issues from my first BBL. I feel like I lost 70% of my phone. I had 800 mL injected in each buttock The first time. I sought out Dr Kosowski because of his great reputation for BBL’s in the Tampa area. These are the pictures in the OR today, I am on the thinner side, I am 510 weighing 165 pounds. I was shocked when he was able to place 950 cc In each buttock. My shape was pretty bad from the first BBL I didn’t feel like he shaped me well at all I still had a square shape going on. I also had the J plasma done because I had some skin laxity from my first BBL As for Dr Kosowski’s staff they are amazing you couldn’t ask for better from the nurses to the anesthesiologist. And as I have stated before Dr Kosowski is very professional, very personable, very caring with a great eye for detail. I will continue to post updates Updated on 17 Apr 2019: Updated on 17 Apr 2019: Updated on 4 Oct 2019:
Dr. Kosowski exceeded my expectations from tummy tuck and breast augmentation! He was attentive , compassionate and always validated my needs ! The day I woke up from 7 hrs long surgery , I wasn’t exactly the easiest patient to deal with and refused to get up and use the Bathroom, dr. Kosowski walked me to the bathroom and literally stayed in there while I finished and got ready to go home . I don’t know many doctors with those kind of bedside manners ! Overall I’m extremely satisfied with my end results and would highly recommend dr. Kosowski as your next surgeon!
I am a 36 year old mom of a 6 year old. I have lost 140 lbs through diet and exercise. I was left with a tremendous amount of loose skin. I am only 48 hours out, but I am thrilled with the results so far. The only downside was coming out of anesthesia. I threw up several times and they exhausted all efforts for anti nausea medication. I just had to ride it out. ?? Updated on 1 Jan 2018: Updated on 8 Jan 2018: Updated on 8 Jan 2018: I'm now at Day 11 and the left drain is still in. It's an annoyance, but overall can't complain. I just want to shower! Updated on 15 Feb 2018: Hi everyone! I've had some messages asking for an update so here we go. I am feeling great and fully back at the gym (minus core work). I don't feel any pain or limitations - except when I lay flat on my stomach . My infection is gone. Unfortunately, I have some scar tissue that I would like to have fixed at some point when it fully heals. Adding photos... Updated on 13 May 2018: Scar is starting to fade significantly! Updated on 18 Jun 2018: Updated on 18 Jun 2018: -23 lbs since dec 28, 2017 Updated on 17 Aug 2018: Dr. Tampa Bay is the absolute best!
All I wanted was underboob. My #1 priority... and now I'm worried I made a mistake. There's this divit at the bottom of my breasts and I'm concerned they won't drop enough. I am almost a week post Opp. I have memory shaped textured implants, 475cc... Will they drop enough to fix this? Please, help. I will add more information to this very soon. Updated on 10 Oct 2017: I just got a hematoma lanced on my left breast along the inframamory fold incision. Her said it may leek fluid a little and just to replace the drapping. I am to apply tripple antibiotic ointment on twice a day. Dr.kasowski numbed it and it only hurt a little. I'm a big baby so I cried a lot. I was worried about the divit at the bottom but he said it was due to swelling and after 6 months or so it should not look that way anymore. I trust him. I will be posting more information and photos soon. Updated on 10 Oct 2017: Updated on 11 Oct 2017: He has been there for me even on his days off. He is charming and has a kind face. He listens to me but reassures me to comfort me. I got a breast augmentation. Memory shaped textured mentor implants, 475cc above the muscle. 10/5/17 Updated on 30 Nov 2017: Infection is either from the original surgery or water from hower got into the opening of the second seroma that developed in the left breast. Immediately after surgery I got a seroma when I went back to work one months later I got another seroma in the same breast again but this time it did not go away. They did not put a drain in, which i know now, they should have. I was admired to the ER and stayed in the hospital for the following 2 weeks. I was in the horpital for my birthday and for thanksgiving. I got very sick and went through hell with medications. I now have to give myself IV antibiotics twice a day and it makes me sick to my stomach. I can no longer do my chosen profession and am having to find another job. My surgeon (Dr.Kosowski at the Lauffer institute in Tampa Bay) has offered a revision with implants and a lift. Is that good enough? Should I also ask for money back? Or to pay for hospital bills? My life was put on hold for over a month and I am BROKE from this. Unable to work for longer than expected. Prople are telling me I should speak to lawyers... should I?
My first ever Botox treatment and I am amazed at the results. I look refreshed, but still natural. Dr Kosowski was very professional and caring. He has hands of gold. If I have any future treatments he would be the only one I would go to and feel comfortable. Knowing that I would be in good hands. Flor Henk
This Smart Lipo procedure on my arms is the second procedure I have had with Dr. Tom Kosowski (Dr. Tom as I call him). I had been searching for a plastic surgeon througout the Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater area that I could feel really comfortable and safe with.....and most of all, able to trust that he would understand how to make just the right changes that would not be drastic and "abnormal" looking as often you see in magazines or on television (yikes! I always say when I see this). Back in February, an aesthetician told me about the great results one of her clients had seen from Dr. Tom's work on her client's face and body so I decided to make an appointment. Well I knew after talking with Dr. Tom 5 minutes that he was the plastic surgeon for me. So he first performed the Laserlift which completely tightened the skin that was appearing loose and sagging around my jaw area and starting to create that "waddle" under my chin - which was driving me crazy when I looked at my profile. It looks amazing and people have stood back and asked me "Did you lose weight?" or "You must be getting good rest as you look really refreshed". So this is really great feedback and makes you feel so good to know that others are noticing these great results. And the amazing thing about this is that the procedure was done less than 3 months ago and the full results won't be seen for 6 months. So since I had such great results with my face I decided to talk with Dr. Tom about an area that I have never been happy with - my upper arms. No matter whether I was at a perfect weight for my size frame, my arms are just the kind that decided not to be the nice defined and toned ones every woman wishes for. So what I loved about my consultation with Dr. Tom on this is that I started talking about an actual armlift (brachioplasty) and he suggested the SmartLipo. He took the time to examine my arms and said I don't think you need to go down that invasive surgery road at this point - you are a great candidate for the Smart Lipo. So I was ready to roll. I had this Smart Lipo procedure on both arms on August 12th and just saw Dr. Tom today for a follow up and we were both so super happy with the results. Of course he knew they would be amazing looking as he is such an expert and perfectionist at his art (and that is what it is - an art when it comes to his work). And I just can't believe it - they look this great after just 12 days. I have tried on jackets that were so tight around my arms before that I just didn't wear them and now they are actually loose fitting - it is absolutely amazing that a procedure that takes an hour can totally transform your arms. I am now discussing a laser treatment with Dr. Tom for under my eyes that I am excited to undergo. I highly recommend and advise anyone who has been wondering about whether there is someone that they can trust or will give them the right options for them to go see Dr. Tom. He is the BEST!!!!! And believe me, I am the type that researches like crazy before I decide on something as important as surgery and cosmetic changes and improvements involving surgery. I am so pleased to have someone I feel like I can always trust to help me age but not look it! :) Thank you Dr. Tom!!!
I went to Dr. Tom Kosowski for lipo suction. He was great! He answered all my questions and was so very patient and under standing with my concerns. The lipo suction did not hurt at all and the results were beyond my expectations. I will be going back to him for another procedure the end of the year. This is the plastic surgeon you want to go to !!!
I have had problems with my arms and belly. The arms would jiggle and were just huge and my belly after age 60 just blew up. I have had problems regulating my weight since my daughter was born and had a lot of loose skin that just seemed to fill up after age 60. My belly really got huge and was becoming a health issue. I have been struggling to lose weight with little success and when I got the neck gobbler that just pushed me over the edge. I went in to see the surgeon for the neck. I really didn't think that they would even consider lipo of my other areas as I was overweight 6'0" and 217 pounds. He (Dr. Kosowski of Bassin Clinic) told me he could help reduce my arms somewhat and get some of the belly fat off too. I was game and scheduled the surgery for Nov. 2015. I bought all my surgical aftercare garments and products, went to all my preop appts., etc. and was canceled by the doctor due to high blood pressure. I was crushed and had to go through many tests with the cardiologist to get cleared which I was after the holidays. By the time I had surgery, I was weighing in at 239 pounds, but B.P. was under control. I was scared but also so excited to be having this surgery. The surgery was done in office and took 3 hours. That was probably the toughest part as I was awake and using gas while Dr. Kosowski performed laser lipo-he did the belly first, arms then neck. There was considerable bruising as expected, soreness and swelling for the first week. I only used 6 out of the 20 pain pills prescribed to me. I am 3 weeks out of surgery and am amazed at the results. I did not do this surgery for weight loss, I just wanted to get rid of the deep belly fat that was affecting my health and challenging my weight loss efforts. I have lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks. Started walking after week one and now I am on my bike and walking pretty much daily. Nothing was covered by insurance-this was an out-of-pocket expense. I still have areas that are sore to the touch, some are lumpy and some is numb which is all to be expected. I would do this again in a heartbeat! Good luck to all of you who have scheduled your procedures! Maybe I will post some pictures if I can get them uploaded to the computer:)
This doctor is very talented and knows his stuff. He corrected my brows done by a previous dr. Very down to earth and highly professional. The surgery went well and each day I'm getting more pleased with the final results. Just a little more swelling needs to go away . I think he also has the best bedside manner I have ever come across. Awesome Dr. Updated on 28 Jan 2016: I wanted something that would really make a dramatic change on my face. My brows were drooping although I'm quite young. I really felt confident with dr Tomas Kosowski as he is very nice, but very honest and truthful of what to expect. He exceeded my expectations. In the beginning I was swollen so it too a few months to see my final results. Now my eyes look awake and refreshed, but so natural and not that surprised look. I will post pics soon.
Today I underwent the Cellulaze procedure to anterior, posterior and lateral thighs. It was a painful and long process. I have moderate to severe cellulite. I swore that I was not going to take any pain medication post procedure because I have never liked pain medications. But within two hours after the procedure I needed them. Waking relieves a lot of that pain , laying and sitting I have the most pain. I will post pics when I can and updates through this journey. Updated on 4 Sep 2016: So my first cellulaze procedure had very little improvement, maybe 5-10% in one leg and less than that in the other leg. I only had the posterior thighs redone. Drainage was pretty heave the first night, but by second post-op day, it it minimal. Praying for a great result this time. I still say the pain is really intense, walking does relieve the pain. Like
