Getting Excited for Slim Lipo
ladymayalaApril 2, 2019
I originally had slim lipo scheduled for September 2018,but had to postpone. About a couple weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge and set up appointments. I want to keep my hips and butt, but minimize my middle. I went for pre op 3/27/19 where I met with the doctor and she prescribed me 4 different meds: percocet for pain, hydroxyzine to take before surgery to relax/ put me to sleep, cephalexin to take before and after the procedure to prevent infection, and triazolam as an additional sedative. I'm a little nervous, but looking forward to seeing the final results. I have two procedure dates scheduled: 4/3 and 4/17 for upper/ lower abdomen, then flanks (waist). Dr thought it would be safer to break it up into two procedures.

The night before Slim Lipo....

I'm 39, and have no children for sake of reference. I like being curvy. I decided to have Slim Lipo because I wanted to keep my booty, hips and breasts, but loose my stomach. Normally, weight loss results in me losing my butt.
I have to admit: I'm starting to get excited. Surgery #1 is tomorrow at 9 a.m. I was originally supposed to have it last week on 4/3, but had to reschedule because it was so busy at the office. I actually think it was a great idea to reschedule, because it gave me more time to research and purchase last minute items. Dr. Hardt recommended using an antibacterial body wash (Hibiclens) the night before, and the day of the procedure. I was also told to take my first dose of antibiotics the night before.
I'm still in the process of deciding if I'm going to go to someone for lymphatic massage, or try to do it myself.

Already noticing a difference in the before and after photos. I posted a more lengthy follow up review separately. I'm still very swollen. I wanted to get photos of fat removed both times but was too groggy the first time. Total, it was about 3000 cc.
