I had 3 sessions of ultrashape and velashape. I am more than happy with how much my belly has gone down and tightened up. This summer I will be able to wear a swimsuit with out being extra conscience about my belly. Dr. Hardt is a MD that I trust and that is why I decided to have my procedure done at rejuvena. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and I never felt pressured once. Thanks Dr. Hardt for making me look better! I will be returning for 3 sessions on another area because I am so pleased with what has already taken place.
Have been a patient of Dr. Hardt for a few years now. Botox, juvederm, Radiesse, and other laser body procedures. She is an artist! She is very informative and professional. I look and feel better about my skin, body, and appearance in my mid 30s than I did in my 20s. Absolutely love her and her wonderful staff.
I originally had slim lipo scheduled for September 2018,but had to postpone. About a couple weeks ago, I decided to take the plunge and set up appointments. I want to keep my hips and butt, but minimize my middle. I went for pre op 3/27/19 where I met with the doctor and she prescribed me 4 different meds: percocet for pain, hydroxyzine to take before surgery to relax/ put me to sleep, cephalexin to take before and after the procedure to prevent infection, and triazolam as an additional sedative. I'm a little nervous, but looking forward to seeing the final results. I have two procedure dates scheduled: 4/3 and 4/17 for upper/ lower abdomen, then flanks (waist). Dr thought it would be safer to break it up into two procedures. Updated on 9 Apr 2019: I'm 39, and have no children for sake of reference. I like being curvy. I decided to have Slim Lipo because I wanted to keep my booty, hips and breasts, but loose my stomach. Normally, weight loss results in me losing my butt. I have to admit: I'm starting to get excited. Surgery #1 is tomorrow at 9 a.m. I was originally supposed to have it last week on 4/3, but had to reschedule because it was so busy at the office. I actually think it was a great idea to reschedule, because it gave me more time to research and purchase last minute items. Dr. Hardt recommended using an antibacterial body wash (Hibiclens) the night before, and the day of the procedure. I was also told to take my first dose of antibiotics the night before. I'm still in the process of deciding if I'm going to go to someone for lymphatic massage, or try to do it myself. Updated on 28 Apr 2019: Already noticing a difference in the before and after photos. I posted a more lengthy follow up review separately. I'm still very swollen. I wanted to get photos of fat removed both times but was too groggy the first time. Total, it was about 3000 cc. Updated on 29 Apr 2019: This procedure took place two weeks after the first on 4/10/19 (lower abs). The doctor thought it would be safer to split the Slim lipo into two procedures because of the amount of fat removed. The second one was for upper abs. I was more sore the second time around, but I think the results were immediately more noticeable. I have before pictures in my first review. I also had less fluid loss this second surgery. I went for my first lymphatic massage 4/27/19. She's wonderful. She told me that I could've started the massages as soon as I felt ready (less pain, etc.) She worked primarily on my lower abs, which have several hard spots in them. After she was done, I could literally touch and feel how she was able to break up the spots, making the area much more pliable. There was however one stubborn area in my lower left abdominal area. She strongly believes in kinesiology tape's ability to speed healing, and wondered why I hadn't been told about it. She also suggested I incorporate dry brushing to help speed healing. I've been using arnica to help with bruising (T-Relief gel) but I'm still dealing with much swelling. I've also been using Lymph stim to deal with brushing and swelling. I'm going to start taking turmeric regularly again since I'm now done with surgery. Updated on 8 May 2019: I'm dealing with some tenderness in both lower and upper abdominals. Feels good to massage the areas with a circular motion. I have not been able to go back for lymphatic massage because the masseuse has been booked up. There are still areas of firmness where the remaining fat is trying to redistribute. Something else to note: my period was a few days late due to the procedures. I'm relieved that it was only a few days, because I've read that it can take anywhere from 1 to 3 months for the menstrual cycle to normalize. Lipo foam has been so helpful for cushion and support under the compression garment. I'm getting ready to switch to a more rigid faja since my newest incisions seem to be closed.
After a lot of reviewing, I chose to go with Xeomin over Botox to fix the wrinkles between my eyebrows. I have "RBF" and I formed 2 defined wrinkled between my eyebrows that I hated. I had 25 units (5 shots), two above eye eyebrow and one right in the middle. It took less than 10 minutes. Within 4 hours, the wrinkles were gone and I couldn't even look mean if I tried. I could not be happier with the results.
On 11/3 Dr. Hardt performed slim lipo on my upper and lower abdomen and upper and lower love handles. I just went for my month post op and I am very pleased. The firstcouple of weeks were painful. At first you swell pretty bad and get hard and lumpy. Don't worry though that lumpiness goes away and once the swelling starts going down you can really see the results. I'm anxious to see how great I'll look in two more months.
