Exceptional Revision Rhinoplasty, Breast Lift, and Breast Augmentation

On April 2, I had a revision rhinoplasty and a breast lift with augmentation with Dr. Samer in Lebanon. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As a nurse anesthesiologist practicing in the US, I came into this with high standards and a critical eye. Dr. Samer not only met them, but truly exceeded every one of them.

I chose to have a revision rhinoplasty because I had a bump on the bridge of my nose and a droopy, wide nasal tip after my primary rhinoplasty in the States. Dr. Samer addressed all of it with precision. Even at five weeks post-op and still swollen, the result is already refined and nicer than my healed primary rhinoplasty.

I also had a breast lift and breast augmentation. I didn’t ask for a specific cup size or number of ccs. I asked for a natural result on my petite frame with some upper pole fullness. I trusted his aesthetic judgment, and I’m glad I did. He used Mentor implants, an FDA-approved brand, and the result is perfect. My incision lines are already healing beautifully.

Dr. Samer’s demeanor is calm, kind, and reassuring. He has a remarkable memory and attention to detail. While marking me in pre-op, he repeated back exactly what I had asked for during the consultation, which made me feel seen, heard, and confident that he understood my goals clearly. He is not arrogant or rushed, and he truly takes his time with you. Every consultation and follow-up I felt at ease because of Dr. Samer’s calm demeanor and his staff at both of his clinics in Lebanon.

I stayed overnight at St. George Hospital University Medical Center at no extra cost and received excellent care. From a clinical perspective, I was impressed. The OR had the exact same anesthesia machine and medications I use every day in the US. It felt safe, sterile, and well managed.

Even though I speak some Arabic, I’m not fluent. Dr. Samer and his staff are fluent in English, and communication was easy and clear throughout the entire process.

The post-op care was exceptional. The clinic followed up with me multiple times, and I had more structured and attentive follow-ups in Lebanon than I’ve ever received after surgery in the US. It made the whole recovery experience smooth.

I was out exploring Lebanon the next day, and didn’t take any pain medications after surgery because I genuinely didn’t need it. I did take Advil a couple of times because my chest felt sore, not painful, but sore. It was as if I had done chest presses the day before. I had no rhinoplasty pain at all. Overall, recovery was so much easier than I expected.

People often assume the US offers the highest standard of care, but my experience completely challenged that. The care I received in Lebanon was world-class, the results are amazing, and the cost was a fraction of what I would have paid in Texas. I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for from start to finish.

I wish I had done this years ago. If you’re on the fence about traveling for plastic surgery, don’t be. Lebanon is an incredible option, and Dr. Samer is truly exceptional.
