I've been looking for a plastic surgeon for the past couple of years and I've finally chosen Dr. Velilla aka Dr. Lipo. Surprisingly I found out about Dr.Lipo on Instagram! I had been following more and more doctors to get a better understanding of their techniques based on before and after pictures and I stumbled upon his feed. And boy was it impressive! The before and after pictures of the women were mind-blowing. So many had these incredibly small waists and large heart-shaped bums. I was hooked.
Since I don't live in Florida where Dr.Lipo is based, I contacted his office through his website and emailed in my information and pictures for a quote. I spoke with Carmela, the out-of-state patient coordinator and she was able to answer all the questions I had about the procedure, assist me with making a deposit, send me all the labs I'd need to get done and set up my surgery date for mid-February.
Since then I've changed my procedure date to late March, which was a very simple process. I simply had to email Carmela and she booked me in for the next available date and resent all the labs I'd have to do since they are time-sensitive. And I've made another payment towards the surgery which I promptly received an invoice for.
I'll be getting liposuction 360, or slim lipo as his team calls it, of my back, stomach, waist, and flanks. As I get closer to the date and actually get the procedure done I'll post more updates.

I got the procedure done!!!
So I'm currently 8 days post op and liposuction is no joke! Yes I am up walking around and doing my daily routine i.e. work and school, but I am so sorry and stiff that I feel like an old lady!
I was surprised at how much liposuction actually hurt!
I'll post a before and after photo so you can see my results/ progress and if you have questions about my surgeons how the procedure went, recovery, supplies and so forth send me a message, or add my Insta (Velilla_doll) and hit me up!

I got slim Lipo. Which is traditional tumescent liposuction. I got my entire abdomen the down which some doctors fall Lipo 360°. I only got the procedure done 8 days ago and so have 10 incision sites. 5 on the front and 5 on the back. They're pretty small probably about half the size of a dime. Right now the ones on my back are pink because the scans fell off. Three of the incisions on my front are pinkish Brown and two are dark, dark brown almost black. :)

hi! did you get local? If so how was the pain? I’m scheduled for lipo under local in September and I’m terrified!

I just had it done too and down played the pain before the procedure. It feels like postpartum all over again if you had a c-section but instead of just your stomach hurting its your back, your sides, and every where else you had the lipo done. It really is no joke. The worse part was getting up and down; or in and out of bed. this may be tmi but I was so stiff that i could not wipe properly (front to back from behind) i had to wipe from the front for the first few days.

5 months post
Still happy!!
Im now at the five and a half month post op stage. Here are my pics. There has been a huge change from pre-op to now (5.5 months). As you can see the swelling from the operation has gone away. And the shape that I am now is much more hourglass, and much more aesthetically pleasing than the shape I was before.
I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone looking for great liposuction results

How was pain during surgery?

Tolerable. I only did local anesthetia so I was awake for the whole procedure. For the most part you can't feel any pain just pressure and movement. Closer to my upper back was painful though.... It felt similar to getting a tattoo over the ribs. But I'd do it again, it's nothing you can't tolerate
