34 Doing This for Me

It’s been a few days since I’ve updated. I feel a thousand times better. Today is Friday. i drove for the first time on Monday and then again on Wednesday. The bbl pillow is a little challenging to drive with, I’m going to try a cushion. Soreness is down to a 1-2. im no longer taking any medication . Only iron and bromelain and a baby aspirin. I decided to get a corsette from vedette that works really well for bettering movement during the day and my Faja at night. Sleep the last two nights has been much improved. My swelling has significantly reduced in the last two days but I’ve been eating pineapple and drinking water like crazy. The water really helps so much. The only place that I’m still really swollen is in the pelvic area. It’s a bit uncomfortable but common. Also it’s stilk hard to bend, I can’t quite bend down to lotion my leg and forget it if i drop something!

Today was a good day. Sleeping was a challenge, it’s hard to get comfortable for longer than 2hours so it’s like I’m tired all day. This morning I got my drain removed, painless thankfully. I got a more firm garment. The physicians assistant said everything looked good and set up my one month follow up appt. She also said that since the drain is out , I need to use the ab board, foams, and back board for the next 30days. After that I need to still use the compression garment for 2 additional months but not with the boards. After putting this thing on, i get why all these girls are snatched. It’s literally so hard to get on when you stuff everything in there. It’s tight for real. When I took it off to go get my massage I felt nauseous. Today’s massage felt so great after removing the drain. Tomorrow will be day 4 and the first day that i don’t have to leave Home. I’m looking forward to that

Today was an easier day, I slept through most of the night. I? was able to wake up on my own to take medicine, go to the bathroom, and get into bed. I was hungry when I woke up. I’m taking Bromelain and iron pills with every meal. I had my second massage today and then had a shower. Only one of the 10 incisions are still hurting. My butt is sore but because there’s no pressure on it it’s not really bothersome. My stomach and back are incredibly sore but on a scale from 1-10 It’s at a 6. I took my pain meds this am at 6 but only Tylenol since then, the massage lady said some girls become too dependent on the pain meds too quickly. I have massages scheduled for every day post surgery except Sunday. They are a little painful but mostly helpful. I was able to see my shape today. Dr. V did a great job. I have curves and nothing looks “fake”. Looking forward to tomorrow when i get my drained removed. The days are going by fast.
