Ethnic Rhinoplasty…I Finally Did It!

I had surgery on 7/19, I’m one week out and after removing the cast love the results thus far. The doctor and hospital are amazing. Turkey is beautiful, the people are friendly and things are pretty affordable. I have nothing bad to say about my experience.
Day 1-4 are difficult because of the congestion, but close to noooo pain.
I also got my teeth done, which was were the pain came in place, but I don’t regret that at all!
Please if you are African American/black you have to go to Turkey, they have techniques that are by far more advanced.
See before and after, please note that the sweeping is there for up to a year and these are the result after one week. My nose is still swollen but I can see a difference.

Need opinions, does my nose look unnatural.

Please tell me does my nose look natural or do I need a revision. I hate pictures now and don’t even look at my self in the mirror. I thought I did enough research but I was wrong. For all the money I paid, flight, hotel, transportation…I could have gone to Beverly Hills and gotten the top surgeon. I’m super disappointed…I’m trying to “trust the process,” but I don’t think it’s an ethnic noise as it’s really pointed.

Your nose looks great! I’m also consider Dr Umit. I like what I see. Nice side profile and your nostrils too. I think it looks natural.

It suits your face but it will likely go down as well which will make it look more natural. Trust the process!

I think you look beautiful pre and post op. Your nose does look natural you are just not used to it yet..if I just met you I would never know you had a rhinoplasty. I would just think you have a cute nose..thats it!

This was my nose before surgery. I like my side profile and never wanted a pointed nose. I just wanted my nostrils reduced. I’m kind of sad about getting surgery and I don’t like thinking that people can tell I got surgery. It makes me feel like a sell out.

My nose is a lot like yours from the front and I like my side profile too. I like your results but I don't trust leaving the country to get it done

Hi there, I completely understand why you would feel that way due society's expectations. Please don't feel like a sell out because you are not. It's obvious that he did not give you want you wanted, BUT you do have a nice nose. I actually loved your nose before, but that's how I feel. What matters is what you want. You were beautiful then, and you still are. You are far from a sell out. You know who are and anyone else's judgment is a non factor.

Your nose looks natural looking. I think it looks great and matches your face. It’s going to take time for swelling to go down. It’s just a mental adjustment because you have a new nose

Trust me, your nose looks very natural. My nose didn't look like that at 1 month post op. now at two months its looking a lookout more natural. Give it about 6 more months and it will look sooo much better. You are still very early and the nose will drop. :)
