I have zero regrets about my surgery

This review is long overdue! I can only speak from my own experience but I do so confidently. I had such a positive experience with this team. Where do I even begin? In the summer of 2023 I decided to go get an ethnic rhinoplasty and a breast fat augmentation concurrently. For the purpose of this review I will concentrate on the ethnic rhinoplasty. Nonetheless, I do want to make it clear that thus far I am also quite happy with the outcome of the breast augmentation done by Dr. Orman.

As I looked through the work of dozens of surgeons I was overwhelmed with the decision. However, I quickly reduced my options to a handful of crafted surgeons. I was extremely concerned that the surgeon was knowledgeable and experienced in ethnic nose. I wanted the post-look of my nose to still be perceived as a ' typical black nose' and thus retain an important element of my identity. I also wanted the changes to be specific changes to the look of my nose whilst not obvious or noticeable. Truthfully, I was terrified of the MJ nose look.

I reached out to Omnia (the representative) and she couldn’t have been more caring and diligent throughout the journey. From the first contact until weeks past the surgery she was checking on my well being. I cannot stress how important it is to have a caring team for any surgery. I’m not exaggerating when I say she went above and beyond to make me feel cared for. I remember when I read other reviews about how the team makes you feel as family. I took it with a grain of salt as I thought they were just probably cordial. But after going through the process, I now understand what they meant. When you are feeling vulnerable and in pain in a foreign country you do want to be surrounded by caring individuals - it’s almost as important as the surgery itself. And if you can, please bring a family member or friend.

I was delighted to see that equally as pleasant were the rest of the team. That includes the other representative, Mete, who assured me of my safety on the way to surgery and helped to put me at ease. Denisa, the nurse who took care of me right after surgery in the most thorough, patient and comprehensive way. And the countless other team members who I’m very grateful for.

And what about the surgery? An epic success. Dr. Orman not only has gifted hands but he ‘listen’ to my requests and delivered on them. A handful of friends and family members knew I was going under the knife. None of the others have been able to tell. Yet, I’m constantly receiving compliments on my appearance. It’s not until I show them a picture of the before and after that they are surprised by the change and yet shocked that they were not able to tell. That is the subtle difference I was aiming for. It’s been around 5 months and I can’t wait to see how the end results will be. Dr. Orman didn’t have the need to use rib graft. In fact he only shaved the cartilage on both ends and slightly tilted the position of the nose. Making sure it wasn’t too pointy or upwards at my request. He also didn’t make my nose alar, at my request.

The recovery of my ethnic nose job was relatively easy in comparison to the fat transfer to the breast. I had a series of post instructions to follow and If it were not for the fat transfer I could have returned to work within days. And after all is done, thus far, I have zero regrets about my surgery.
