My New Nose - Estonia, Tallinn

I've always been bit self-conscious about my large crooked nose with a bump. I know that I'm beautiful and attractive, but been thinking since my teens that if I had an opportunity, I would fix my nose. And now I have done it :) It's my second day after the surgery, not feeling the most comfortable, but I'm not in any pain, taking it easy.

Day 4 - my left nostril is making some noises as I swallow. Means the swelling is coming down and air is moving through it a bit. As more days pass, I feel the wound pain more clearly, also I can feel the splints in my nose and it's not very comfortable, some numb headaches as well, but it's not so bad to take any pain meds.

My surgery lasted pretty long - 3 hours and I was bleeding a lot. Come to think of it, I should have avoided drinking so much green tea before the surgery! (around 4 cups a day)
I am avoiding green tea now as I'm recovering just in case, drinking only water and home-made fruit smoothies.
Bit of blood is still oozing from the left nostril, right one oozes the cream that I apply on the stiches.

I keep in touch with my doctor via phone. Looks like the healing process is going normally :)

Day 5 after surgery - I feel so good and strong! I was finally able to have a shower and wash my hair with the help of my dear mum (we used a special technique of covering my face with a towel and I sat on a little chair with my head back over the bathtub). She is cooking all this lovely food, and unfortunately I can't feel the taste yet.. But it's nice to be pampered :) The splints inside the nose are bit annoying, because I can feel them when I move, but hopefully next week they will be taken out.
