Hey Guys
So I am due to get a Hair transplant at Estethica Clinic Turkey on the 26th September 2017
I've noticed that there's not alot of well done reviews online for Afro Caribbean / Black African hair transplants, so I wanted to contribute to the community by documenting my own process, not only on realself but on youtube aswell.
I'd like to thank 'Lloyd b' and Jerry179 for assisting my with the information I needed to start my hair transplant journey, do go and check their reviews on realself
As you can see from my pictures I already have good hair coverage (on the top) of my head , but I am looking to improve the coverage of my hairline, and also my temple area, as you can see from my before pictures it is starting to recede in the corners.
I'm looking to achieve density for my hairline and temple area with and realistic look with minimal scaring , so I have choosen to do FUE Hair transplant.
To achieve a lower straighter hair line I have been quoted 1500 - 1900 grafts will be needed
I Look forward flying to turkey Istanbul and documenting my journey
Thanks

Hey Guys
So its been a while since my last update and I was so surprised by the responses and the message I got from all you guys
So I flew to Turkey, Istanbul on the 26th September, from Stansted Airport, I arrived at Istanbul airport at around 8pm and I was greeted at arrivals from a driver from Estetica (felt very official)
(BTW if your flying in to Istanbul from London your going to need to buy a visa at Istanbul airport, which cost around 25 euros)
I got driven to my hotel and I relaxed the until the following morning (The Hotel was really nice )
Transplant day
So I was picked up from the hotel early the next morning ,with around 3 other guys getting a transplant done. When we arrived at the Estetica clinic I was greeted by Jale, shes very nice and speaks English which is a big plus.
Im going to be very honest with how the clinic is run (but dont let it put you off because I feel my transplant turned out good)
I was asked a few questions from the the clinic supervisor about my health issues, ect "are you allergic to any foods ??" and so on... (he did not speak English) so Jale had to translate.
Blood was then take from my arm, for a blood test (I'm not even sure why they done this because I did not get my results back)
My hairline was then drawn by a technician (I had to correct her on my hair line because I wanted it a certain way, I still think she did not do it to my exact specs because they was an issue with going to close to the temple area, but its alot better than it was, the language barrier was a big problem)
After my hairline was drawn I then went to the operation room, and they began injecting the local anaesthesia to my donor area (these hurt a little but its not too bad, its all over in around 10 - 20 mins
After that they began taking the grafts from my donor area, this took around an hour (I didn't have alot of hair to transplant so my operation was pretty quick)
We then took a break for a meal which was nice, and then we went back to the operation room to begin making the slits so they can insert the graft (this took the longest)
Injecting the local anaesthesia to the recipient area is probably the most painful, but it is bearable and it doesn't last long.
After the the operation was finished they bandaged me up and gave me my aftercare products and they driver then took me back to my hotel.
Here's some videos so you guys can get a better look

Thank you again for these uploads. I am glad that you are doing well. You are definitely helping with calming my husband's nerves. He has even sent in his photos to get an estimate but he is still frightened of the scar appearance since he wears his hair somewhat low. If possible, meaning if you do feel comfortable uploading these pics, we would really appreciate photos of your scar site.
Also, you mentioned that you were not sure why they drew your blood. On my husband's quote, it mentions a "PRP add-on Treatment (platelet rich plasma)". This could have been what your blood was used for, but this is just a hunch. :)
Goodluck with your healing!!!

Please dont get in the trap of this [RS bleep] industry. Dont be a victim like me. I will make a website to educate people about the trauma and sideeffects of this [RS bleep].
They never tell you about the scars which is a curse for the whole life.
Please dont get trapped by their ads and commercial.
Dont opt hair transplant.
You all can live with less hair but its gonna be hard as [RS bleep] with scars.
I am living in hell after my hair transplant.

I did my hair 4 months ago and I see some amazing results with FUE. it’s not totally scarless but so far not a single member of my family or friend knew I did hair transplant and I keep my hair #1 on the shaver. I have a buzz cut at the back. No one even suspected I did HT. I think that’s a good sign. Once done correctly, there is just tiny scar that’s hard to see if I were to grow my hair, no one can see it. It’s totally invisible.

Thanks for the update bro. I'm an Afro Caribbean male also. I got the fue beard transplant at the same location you got yours from shortly after you went about 5 days after. I'm nearing my 2months also. I will be posting my pics soon. I have a question about your donor are. Did you break out? I had crazy bumps on the back of my head everywhere. Although they are starting to go away now, but it bothered me for a while. I wanted to know if you had the same issue.

You get a fisher hat from Esthetica Clinic the day after the transplant, or specifically after your first hair wash. However, avoid tight caps for the first two weeks. I started using my baseball caps two weeks after the transplant personally. It's been under two months, so I can't comment on personal hair growth yet.
Why dont you post some before and after pictures, im interested in seeing your results
