second ultherapy
I had ultherapy done on my lower face and upper neck again after two years. I was 61 when I had it done the first time. I am now 63. I was pleased with the subtle lifting of the areas which were treated the last time. I was starting to feel that I needed another sprucing up so I went for it again. It wasn't as painful as I remembered from the first time. I took 800 mg of IBuprofen, 500 mg tylenol and used the topical numbing cream. My ascthetician gave me two squishy balls to squeeze and a small vibrator that laid on my stomach. Any time I felt pain I used them and it was soothing and took my mind off the zingers. It's been two days and I see some very minor bruising but barely visible. My face is a little tender but even that is minor. There is some swelling but again, nothing real noticable. My goal is the same as last time; a little lifting of the lower face around the chin and jaw line. I was noticeable last time and I'd love to have it work again. I'll keep you posted. The cost was under $1000 because my original procedure was a reduced rate due to it being new to Dr. Emola's office. I was charged half price this time since I'm a return client. I'll repost something in a month. That's about the amount of time it took last time for me to notice some results. Two months into it I was pleased that my money was well spent. Let's see if being two years older is as successful.

I had ultherapy done by one of Dr. Emola's aestheticians; Beryl. I had the jaw to upper cheek portion done. I am very happy with the results even a year later. It really did lift the upper cheeks up so it almost looks like I had injections. It strengthened that area so that it created a slight lift. The jaw line looks much better. I had some sagging skin around the jaw line and chin. My after pictures revealed quite a difference. It appeared to "fill in" that area. The only down side was that it hurt quite a bit to go through the procedure. They recommended ibuprofen which I did take. Since it was over the counter and not prescription, next time i'll double the dose. just very painful along the jaw line. It won't keep me from doing it again. There is no down time at all. You can go right on with your life after the procedure is over! no bruising. As far as when I was able to see positive results I'd say within a month I started to notice some lifting and looking less tired. By two months I knew it had worked. Go for it. You won't regret it.
