WORTH IT
I was a very insecure female due to my acne scars on my forehead and always covered up with bangs . I finally decided to see doctor Rapapport and had my first procedure done in May which was prp and infini , I must say that in a 2 weeks results were already showing . It's an uncomfortable feeling but well worth having the procedure done . In total I've had 3 procedures done but everyone may be different depending on scars. I'm happy to say his work and expertise is well worth going to. My confidence and self esteem has increase ever since ..

How are you doing now? thinking of infini and wanted to know if it was worth it. Did you have more treatments or just the one? If you could post pictures it would be helpful

Thank you for paying it forward and sharing your experience along with photos. Your results are really great, there is a huge improvement in your scars. How was your recovery overall -- do you have any tips for the community?

Thank you !! I at first didn't see results because I we already dealing with self esteem issues until people were complimenting me ... Once I put the pictures with before and after I was so excited n happy . Recovery isn't bad at all . My skin felt like I had bad sunburn in which the doctor gave me a moisturizer and face wash for free . You have to use sunblock for a week n not expose the areas to sun . Very little brusing too which was great , and u can wear makeup 1 week later . The do use a numbing cream or injections to numb the are you will be having the procedure done but I must admit it's very uncomfortable. They now have the patients go under anesthesia but you would need to be accompanied by someone to get it . I unfortunately was on my own . They only bad was a day or two later u start to brake out where ever you had the procedure done but #1 rule don't pick on it just you the face wash n moisturizer n let it clear itself .

I think you got a good result. I'm thinking of doing this treatment. Could you share how much it cost?

Thank you . It take time to see really good results but worth the wait ;) . I had subscision and prp which was for the really deep scars in May which was almost $1650 and in June and November I had the infini $895 but I must also mention that I only had my forehead done . It's different for the whole face or cheeks etc..

Hasn't your doctor suggested TCA Cross yet? It works best for ice pick scars (which is the type you appear to primarily have) and isn't expensive. Subcision is for tethered down rolling scars (which your forehead doesn't appear to have from your photos.) You do have some softening of your scars from the Infini though. Good luck!

No he hasn't but the pictures are not too clear in showing my scars but I had a lot of deep holes . What is softening of scars ? Any other info you can share with me is great so I can mention to him when I see him again ? Thank you

Did you see the first picture I posters on my profile ?

Softening of scars basically just means blurring of scars (they're still visible but not as stark looking.) TCA CROSS (not peel) is the pretty much the most successful treatment for deep acne scars, especially ice pick types. It's a pretty simple procedure and usually works better on individual deep scars better than any laser. It's trichloroacetic acid (high concentration up to 100%) placed directly into the each scar using an applicator that looks like a toothpick. It causes a chemical cauterization that slowly closes the scar. It's usually done in a series of 3-6 treatments. It should only be done by a professional, especially with high concentrations. I've been getting it done myself, at the same time as fractional c02 and I am getting results (even though most of my scars are boxcar type.) You don't have to have laser with it, just so you know. Anyway, I had this one deep ice pick scar right between my eyebrows that I had excised in 2013. That made it less deep but wider. After 3 TCA Cross with the laser just recently, it is gone. I'm planning on 3 more treatments because I have a face full of scars. There is a lot of info. on TCA Cross, just do a google search. You can private message me, if you wish.
