I'm 5foot 3 inches and weigh 139, I'm going in for a Breast Lift and 325 ccs silicon moderate profile. The dr recommended a lollipop lift, i'm ok with but I'm terrified that I wont like them or get sick. Although I like the weight of my current breasts, I HATE the look. I'm 38 and have one child which I breast fed for a month. Everytime I sit down I feel my floopy breasts sit on my belly --YUCK!!! I also have large areolas and am stressing that I want them reduced.

I am going in for my BL/BA the day before you! I know how hard it is waiting but this site is awesome! Everyone is so helpful and encouraging. I'm here for you! Stay positive!!!

I'm three years out from mine and absolutely feel it's the best thing I've ever done for myself. I was very conflicted about the scars on my breasts but seriously? I wouldn't trade them (which are very light) for my old breasts for anything in the world! If you don't like your nipple size now, by all means have the nipple reduction at the same time. Just having implants can sometimes make the nipples stretch. I didn't press that issue with my surgeon enough at the time of surgery. I ended up having one implant exchanged a few months later for one 50 cc's larger and had a nipple reduction at the same time. I love my boobs! Best of luck to you. You will LOVE the results! Let us know how your pre op goes.

Thanks for saying that! I speak the truth!! You'll know after Feb. - if I'm not thrilled with my posterior body lift and medial thigh lift, I'll definitely be posting about it. The good, the bad and the ugly. Lol

Thanks for your post and deciding to share your experience. Although my BL/BA was 7 weeks ago, I'm just now starting to post on this site. Wish I had done it prior to my procedure, though. There is so much good information! Anyway, I saw on one of your posts that you run and ride horses. I also do both (as well as cross-fit). I was interested in what type of riding you do, and will be excited to hear your experience getting back to that after your prodecure. BTW, I am a dressage rider, but sold my horse last November. Looking forward to my next "project".

Very Cool!, I'm happy to hear other women getting this procedure done ride horses too. I know that there are always risks but there is no way I can stop riding/caring for my horses. (I know I have to heal) I ride hunters but would love to learn more about dressage as it helps over fences and overall balance. Thank you for the encouragement. I'm feeling better about everything today.

Hey nlehneck, I replied to you on my page, and I gave you all the nitty-gritty "details" of my experience so far. I probably said too much, but after everything, I'm still glad I did it! In the long run, I will get the results I want :). And I definitely look better than before! So, I apologize if I said anything discouraging. And I'll tell you the same thing I told jkd001, start today keeping a journal and keep it all through this process. I started keeping it too late, but it has really helped! Write down your emotions, excitement, healing process, just everything. This site is a great source, too. Best Wishes!

Thank you for the support, these saggy things need help, I was wondering what people use for scars? is it medurma or the like? does it help?

I bought the silicone lollipop incision strips and used them religiously for more than 3 months. Swear by them. But a lot of people are swearing by Scarguard MD - you paint it on like nail polish.
October 10, 2013
How soon did you start using them? My PS still doesn't want me using anything, and I'm at 7 weeks!

Mine told me the minute the incision was healed. Can't remember off the top of my head, but pretty sure it was around 3 weeks...maybe 4?

I haven't started using the scar creams yet (3days out) but a lot of people gave me great suggestions like the silicone strips & Bio oil.

So I started using BioCorneum today. I'm 8 days out.

300 or 325 cc's?

nlehneck
I rode my horse yesterday and felt my old boobs flopping around with a normal bra on, I thought should I go smaller? but I think I will like the fullness a 325 gives me. the 350's made me look heavy. any thoughts? I know everyone's different.

I had a BA/lift and originally had 350cc and felt like they were too small (barely a C) I am 5'4" 145. I had a revision done a year later and they were 600cc or so which are way too big. I think that's the hardest part about getting implants you really don't know how they will look until they are in. Good luck on your journey. Please email me if you have any questions at all. I had a full mastopexy which I'm still really happy with.
October 13, 2013
You already have a lot of tissue and stoll will have some after the lift so I'd recommend 300cc. I didn't have a lot and I got 350cc, makes me a double or triple D. They're too big for my 90lb frame and cause me lots of pain so I'm removing Monday without replacement

You have to do what feels right for your lifestyle. I did not want to change my size because of my activities (riding and running), but I did want to look better. I was a 36C cup before (I am 5'4"and 118), and that is exactly what I am right now, but I fill it up a lot better :) Ran a 5K yesterday, and they felt ok with two bras. I rode today for the first time in ages and again felt good with two bras. I sometimes wished at first I had gone a little larger, like 300-350 (I went with 235), but now, for me, I am so glad I didn't. The size is perfect for what I wanted. I'm sure you will be happy with whatever you decide, because you will like them so much better than what you have now. It took me 7 weeks or healing and then starting back to my "normal" like to get to this realization, though.
October 14, 2013
I'm leaning towards 300 cc- tomorrow is pre-op. I'm going to stress smaller, I appreciate the honest advice.
October 14, 2013
And after when your approve for bras if you want to look bigger get you a nice push up bra (: best of luck and hope they work out for you, I just don't like mine and I have lots of nerve pain.

Surgery the 22nd, moved up two days/Pre Op

I had my pre-op, feeling more confident and excited. I dropped off my perscriptions-
percoset, valium, celebrex, and antibiotic. I'm supposed to sleep in a "recliner like" position. I tried on 300 cc liked the size and the nurse said they would go with a 325 mentor* moderate profile implant b/c that is what will look like what I want. If I went with a 300cc it would look like the 285 cc implant I tried. I'm a little nervous about that but she also mentioned that they would look great. I paid the balance and am totally commited, here I go!

Woohoo! So excited for you! Size is still giving me problems...lol. We just have to trust that the PS will do right by us and the size we have asked for. I will be thinking about you next week! I go in the day after you :) XOXO

together we go, thank you for the support, I cant wait to see your results. How are you going to sleep? I don't have a recliner.
User Avatar

I am planning on using a bunch of pillows to put me at the right angle. I do have a recliner that I'm going to try too. See which one works the best :) The nurse told me a bunch of pillows behind and one on each side to prevent myself from trying to roll over when I'm asleep. We shall see!!!

We are getting so close!!! Are you getting ready?!
October 18, 2013
yes, we bought a recliner so I had somewhere to sit and sleep for the first ten days, I need to pick up perscriptions and of course the house, laundry, horses and dogs need to be squared away! I need to shop for food and cook this weekend. I'm afraid that the house is going to be turned into a war zone, once I stop picking up after everyone. I'm so excited!!! I have been getting outside as much as possibly but it snowed today, yuck!

There is tons to do isn't there?! I have to do laundry and make kids lunch so that is accessible for my hubby and brother to just slip into their lunchboxes. Can't have things be too difficult or I will be in trouble (not really). I think I am putting more pressure on myself than they are actually expecting. I went to the store today and bought some things that I think will help me while I'm "off my feet". Hopefully I won't drive my husband nuts ;) Its coming up so fast!!! What are you planning to do this weekend? I'm just spending time with my kiddos and running in my last race until I get the clear to run again. My hubby is going out of town Saturday night for a friend's birthday...I just didn't want to be away from my kids when they will hardly see me once I have the surgery. Going to get their pictures done for their passports...we are taking them on their first cruise the day after Christmas. Now that the government is up and running I figure I can get that done before I'm out of commission for a little while. Ok, I'm going to stop ranting. Hope you have a great weekend! XOXO
