26yo 5'9 140lbs Exchanging 300cc Saline for 695cc High Profile Natrelle Inspira. Englewood, CO

I had my first breast augmentation in December...

I had my first breast augmentation in December 2007 at 18 years old. I was so excited to finally be getting boobs that I went with the size and profile my surgeon suggested instead of doing my own research. I wound up with conservative 300cc moderate profile saline implants. I could tell right after surgery that they were smaller than I wanted even in their swollen state. I was originally a 34A and the BA moved me to a 34C or B depending on the bra. Even though they were smaller than I wanted the BA was still well done, very symmetrical, no complications at all, and I was back to work in 4 days. I have had these implants for nearly 8 years, had a child, and the timing is finally right for me to replace these for the implants I really wanted the whole time!
After years of research, including reading a lot of reviews on here, I have a concrete idea of what size and style implant I want. I consulted with 4 other Plastic Surgeons before Dr. Buford and knew as soon as I met him, he is who I want to do my BA. Him and his whole staff are wonderful, they really treat you like a friend and not just the next appointment. I had originally picked out 475cc-500cc Natrelle cohesive gel implants, but Dr. Buford advised that I would need to consider 500-600cc to achieve the look I would like. I will choose a final size at my pre-op appointment, but I'm considering 525-550cc Natrelle Inspira.
After speaking to my husband I decided to schedule my surgery the same day. Dr. Buford's office is offering a $500 discount if my surgery is completed by the end of September, so I went ahead and booked mine for September 18th!

My Recovery Kit

I am a planner by nature and like to have everything prepared way in advance, so I decided to do a little shopping today for my recovery kit even though my surgery is 3+ weeks away. I spent about $100 total. Let me know if you think there's anything else I should get...
I bought...
-Comfortable wire free sports bras
-Cocoa Butter
-Saltine crackers
-Ginger ale
-Reuseable cold compresses
-Baby wipes
-Stool softeners
-Prune juice
-Scar Away silicone strips

I fully intend to relax and become well acquainted with Netflix during my week off after surgery and want to be as comfortable as possible :)

Worried that 600cc might not be enough?!

I've been doing more and more research lately and now I'm starting to wonder if even 600cc won't be enough to make a big difference in my size. I'm used to wearing a VS Bombshell bra which adds two cup sizes and I think I still look kind of small in that. I'm afraid that only going up 200-300cc's will only be slightly noticeable. I don't want to spend all this money and time recovering for just negligible results, but at the same time I don't want (as another user put it) "circus tits". It seems like such a fine balance between sexy large breasts and huge pornstar boobs. I know at my height I need more cc's to achieve a certain look, but I'm afraid of looking heavy or matronly. I have my pre-op next Thursday the 3rd, hopefully Dr. Buford can give me some insight on what would look best.

Just finished my surgery!

Hey ladies! Had my surgery today at 3:30 and am on my way home now. Everything went great and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Buford and all the Nurses and Renewal Surgery Center. I ended up with 695cc high profile Natrelle Inspira! I was shocked when I saw the implant card because Dr. B was going to try several sizes in the OR. I am very surprised at how alert and oriented I feel now. I Was completely out of it after my first BA and even having my wisdom teeth removed, so this is a pleasant change. I'm not in any pain at all right now, just a slight pressure, but I still have a nerve block working for me so we'll see. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

One Day Post-Op Photos

Here's me at one day post-op. It's a night and day difference between my first BA and this one. First time around I was in a lot of pain, couldn't move my arms, couldn't sit up, ect. This time all I have is slight pressure that I've been able to manage with just extra strength Tylenol and Celebrex and haven't needed any Vicodin at this point.
