I had my first breast augmentation in December 2007 at 18 years old. I was so excited to finally be getting boobs that I went with the size and profile my surgeon suggested instead of doing my own research. I wound up with conservative 300cc moderate profile saline implants. I could tell right after surgery that they were smaller than I wanted even in their swollen state. I was originally a 34A and the BA moved me to a 34C or B depending on the bra. Even though they were smaller than I wanted the BA was still well done, very symmetrical, no complications at all, and I was back to work in 4 days. I have had these implants for nearly 8 years, had a child, and the timing is finally right for me to replace these for the implants I really wanted the whole time!
After years of research, including reading a lot of reviews on here, I have a concrete idea of what size and style implant I want. I consulted with 4 other Plastic Surgeons before Dr. Buford and knew as soon as I met him, he is who I want to do my BA. Him and his whole staff are wonderful, they really treat you like a friend and not just the next appointment. I had originally picked out 475cc-500cc Natrelle cohesive gel implants, but Dr. Buford advised that I would need to consider 500-600cc to achieve the look I would like. I will choose a final size at my pre-op appointment, but I'm considering 525-550cc Natrelle Inspira.
After speaking to my husband I decided to schedule my surgery the same day. Dr. Buford's office is offering a $500 discount if my surgery is completed by the end of September, so I went ahead and booked mine for September 18th!

Please keep us up dated as I considering this n want to know all the pros n cons n what the different kinds are . Most people I know that's had them are like u they usually wish they'd went a size or tow bibber than they did n I'd heard a dr. Say most people should go a size bigger than what they think they want . It also has to do with how much skin U have Good luck praying everything goes well ! Keep us posted .

Hun what implants do you in this pic? I love these breasts and that's what I'd like - they just look soooo natural. Your new ones look good too but I love this really conservative look.
What size are they? And we're they silicone you say??

300cc saline moderate profile under the muscle. This is after 8 years and having a child though.

Thank you for this photo. It is almost impossible to find an "implants after breastfeeding" pictures. Did you breast feed? They look so natural. Would you happen to have a side picture? Thanks again, this has made me feel much better about my decision to get implants before having children.

My Recovery Kit
CAtoCOBlondieAugust 25, 2015
I am a planner by nature and like to have everything prepared way in advance, so I decided to do a little shopping today for my recovery kit even though my surgery is 3+ weeks away. I spent about $100 total. Let me know if you think there's anything else I should get...
I bought...
-Comfortable wire free sports bras
-Cocoa Butter
-Soups
-Saltine crackers
-Ginger ale
-Reuseable cold compresses
-Chapstick
-Tissues
-Baby wipes
-Ibuprofen
-Stool softeners
-Prune juice
-Neosporin
-Scar Away silicone strips
I fully intend to relax and become well acquainted with Netflix during my week off after surgery and want to be as comfortable as possible :)

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! If I could suggest one or two things - it would be a wedge pillow and a travel neck pillow. I got both at Walmart and they were lifesavers. I'm postop day 6 and I am still using them both! :) good luck to you!

You look great now so you are going to look great after too. My advice would be to show the surgeon what you want and let him decide during the surgery.

Do you have a wedge pillow? It's really hard to keep rearranging pillows behind you when you're postop. Also I had a cup with a lid and straw that helped me a lot the first couple days. Also protein shakes were really nice because I didn't really feel like chewing. I also took my own vitamin C and glutamine. Xo

You also need need need a travel neck pillow!! I could not have slept without one. Sleeping on my back sitting up would not have been possible.
