By age 27 in the year 2012, I found myself no longer able
to gel my hair upwards in the front, the deterioration of the hairline was too
prominent. And the sides of the hairline went really far back. If I used the
hair from the front to cover the sides, the front was exposed. If I used the
hair on the sides and combed it to cover the front, the hair loss on the sides
was exposed. I was getting to the point where there was no way to hide it. I even tried a buzzcut for a while, which made the loss in the front less
noticeable, but it was still clear that the sides of the hairline went too far
backwards
in the corners. I looked around at possible doctors, and found that the
best price, best experience, and best attitude/demeanor were all in Dr.
Parsa Mohebi. I had a hair transplant with Dr. Parsa
Mohebi, and received 2,244 grafts. I paid for 2,200 and in the spur of the
moment he gave me 44 for free rather than waste any hair from my strip. I was nervous going into my surgery, and they were also going to be working on my eyebrows, which had
experienced hair loss. Dr. Mohebi helped me decide exactly how my new hair line should be, and how my new eyebrows should be. That was really valuable for me,for him to bring his medical opinion in helping me make an informed decision about what would look natural. On the day of surgery, Dr. Mohebi really went all out in making me feel comfortable, I
felt like king for a day because they played whatever movies I wanted to watch, fed me a really good meal, and brought me ice cream right there in my surgical chair. And when I wanted more ice cream, his staff brought more and said, "This is your day." You can see why I like them. My biggest fear afterwards was that the scar in the back would show, but the scar is perfectly hidden underneath the hair in the back of my head. By the time 8 months had passed, I was a new man, able to gel my hair up in the front like I hadn't been able to in a couple of years! People kept complimenting me on my hair! I am so glad I sprang for the hair transplantation. And I'm especially glad that I went all out with the 2,244 grafts from Dr. Mohebi.

Your hair looks incredible, I never expected it to have a bit of a wave to it. I'm so happy that you had a good experience, thanks so much for sharing your story with the community. How was your recovery, do you have any tips to share with us?

The first five days are extremely important, as Dr. Parsa Mohebi's staff showed me the exact way I needed to gently wash my new hair and protect it from the sun and anything rough. After five days, the hair is permanent. Then keep this in mind: the new hair and the hair around it will fall out within about ten days, and you'll look like you LOST hair instead of gaining it. This is a natural part of the process. The part of the hair that causes it to regrow has already become permanent inside the scalp, and the surrounding hair simply falls out because of the shock of the surgery, yet it also grows back. I was taught not to judge the transplant until 8 months after surgery. By the time 8 months rolled around, I looked great! Just make sure you get a thorough explanation from your doctor on how to care for the hair in those first five days.
