WORTH IT
This is my embrace review.

I’m 6 weeks past my surgery date (breast lift w augmentation) and two weeks of using embrace.

Someone on this site wrote me telling me to be very careful when taking the adhesive off, it can open your scars; with that said, I thought I would pass this along.

Since it’s hard to compare (I’m doing both breasts) and each body is so unique w regards to how it heals w scars I can only go off my experience using the sheets.

The nurse at the plastic surgeon’s office put them on me the first two weeks and now I’m on my own. Hopefully in time the scars will be minimal.

PS I do have one question, if your body absorbs the silicon from the sheets isn’t that just as dangerous as silicon leaking in your body and if it’s not can you explain how that differs? Thanks.

From my understanding the silicon creates a natural barrier to maintain moisture that is lost from the stratum corneum (top layer of skin- temporarily Damaged from surgery) It also helps in reduced scar tissue that forms from moisture loss etc! Hope that helps a little.. I don’t think the body can actually absorb the silicon itself
As that’s a large partical but the silicon create a favorable
environment to heal!! Just started this therapy myself on day 5. I’m really nervous about the removal part of the treatment

How is your Embrace scar treatment coming along? It has been a month, how do you like the result?
