I am so, so, very pleased with my results. It was worth every $$$$ I spent and then some!!!! The experience was pleasant and professional from beginning to end. Dr. Markmann is the Maaan!!!! Ladies, have been working out for years, eating healthy, and still not seeing the results you want to see when you look in the mirror. Then please don't hesitate. Dr. Markmann is a body contouring magician. I am still amazed four months later when I look in the mirror at my body. I underwent liposuction of my waist, abdomen, basically my entire trunk area to include bilateral dorsal rolls (fat that bulges from around your bra), and buttock augmentation. For me the postoperative phase was not extremely difficult. The most challenging aspect of postop recovery was having to sleep on your stomach and not being able to sit down on your buttocks for six weeks. But with proper planning and preparation it is certainly doable. I had my family come to my home daily to care for me. My mother, sister, and uncle each took turns cooking for me, driving me to and from follow-up appointments, etc. You must devise a plan because the postop phase is critical to achieving the results that you want. Believe me when I tell you, you do not want to invest this type of money and then not follow his instructions. Trust me, I am a operating room nurse, and I have seen and witnessed this procedure done several times. Another important thing to do which will be very challenging is to make sure that you get up and WALK while in the hospital. The nursing staff will assist you. You must get up and WALK while on the hospital unit to reduce your risk for blood clots and to help your lungs expel residual anesthetic agents. This is serious surgery, so it is crucial that you follow all the instructions provided to you from Dr. Markmann and his knowledgeable staff. His staff is also very helpful and they work very closely with Dr. Markmann to ensure his patients have a wonderful experience. You only live once, and everybody deserves to be the best that they can be. Dr. Markmann is truly an ARTIST in every since of the word. He is a perfectionist. I have worked along side several well respected board certified plastic surgeons, but Dr. Markmann is an exceptionally gifted and talented ARTIST. This is his calling!!! I do not know any other way to describe his work. His techniques are carefully strategized to achieve optimal results. Take it from someone who has been inside the operating room!!!!
