It's about time for another update! I finally got my bulb drains removed on the 12th day. It was such a relief. I'm so glad the drain sites were strategically placed in the crotch area though; if it weren't the scars would be noticeable especially in the upper torso area. Anyway, I'm ecstatic about my results! I didn't want a prominent butt, just a subtle butt that didn't look done. However, the BBL scars will definitely be there, but I will probably get fraxel and IPL done so that they fade out.

Wow it looks great!! Im happy everything turned out good. You are killing it!! Can you tell me the items you needed after your surgery when you get the chance. Speaking with my husband he will be traveling for work in the next two months and I would like to get this done right away. I know in one of your posts you mentioned about needing a nurse after post op but how about the the days afterwards. Do you have someone helping you currently while you recover or are you doing it by yourself? I am thinking I will most likely be by myself since my husband will be traveling for work but if it is a thing where you absolutely need someone there for a whole week then I will just have to wait until he comes back. Nobody knows but him that I plan on getting this done and I want to keep it that way. Thats why even though I really want this soooo bad based on your experience if I need someone there for a specific amount of time then I will have to wait until he comes back:(

Hey girl we have the same situation! I didn't let anyone know except for my husband and my BFF. On the day of surgery, Dr. Markmann requires an overnight stay at the hospital and an emergency contact. After surgery they will call your husband and let him know how it went. During the overnight stay, they take the catheter out of you and the nurses help you out with peeing. That was the hardest part without fainting. The patient tech I had is the best. Her name is Summer. She took real good care of me. After that, I had my husband pick me up around afternoon. I needed him to help me out for about 4 days before he left for his business trip. I'm actually able to do most things on my own. For food, you would probably need to cook on your own or order takeout. You probably would need a lower bed, a boppy pillow, getting your prescriptions filled out, alcohol pad wipes to milk the JP drains, and ask the nurses for one of those peeing containers (so you can stand up and pee). Finally, you would need someone to drive you to Dr Marksman's office to remove the drains after. I have to use Uber. I hope this helps babe!

Congrats!!! I just had my consultation yesterday and my date is Aug 11. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. Did your procedure take 7 hours?

May 12, 2016
Thanks babe, yes it was around 7 hours! But I was totally unaware of how much time went by because of general anesthesia. It was tough for the first night, but it gets better! Btw, congrats on your decision, I have no regrets! I absolutely love my body and the way I was taken care of right after the procedure. You made an excellent choice! I totally understand about being nervous but just think positive! Everyone's really great at the Northwest hospital. Dr. Markmann is fantastic!

Pics of Post Op Day 3 and Day 4
Hi Ladies! Today is day 5. I'm feeling a lot better now. I was able to do number 2 yesterday with the help of Colace...and some black tea. I also managed to shower with the drains tied together around my neck as Dr. Markmann suggested it. The only thing that is painful at the current moment is the JP drains in me! They sting whenever I'm "stripping" them down (at least 3x a day). I actually have to take oxycodone and diazepam together to tolerate it. Other than that, I am very happy about my new body! I love it so much. I also love how he position the scars especially where the drains are, because most doctors place them much higher. Anyway, Dr. Markmann did a fantastic job-- look I have a Kylie Jenner butt now! YAY! :-P
