Ellacor & Morpheus Treatment Ruined my Skin

Thank you for your warning. I had an RF microneedling treatment also, and lost fat. So ended up with hollow undereyes (and more wrinkling there over time).

I did another RF treatment that left a dent in one cheek. that even fat transfers were not successful in fixing. That loss of volume now also means more wrinkling.

Ironic that they claim RF kills fat and/or tightens skin depending on the setting. But clearly the settings are not that precise.

I did Ellacor and thought it was successful. Required multiple IPL treatments to get rid of the redness. Then required CO2 laser to get back my better skin texture. But no permanent scarring.

Two years later and I'm definitely worse than before in terms of laxity -- so didn't last. I need to update my review.

I had an Ellacor treatment 8 weeks ago by a dermatologist I’ve been going to for years. I am two days from passing 8 weeks since my procedure. The only difference I see in my face is red square stamps on both cheeks (my right cheek being worse). Initially the red stamp marks were fading pretty well but now seem to have stopped fading. Makeup only makes me look terrible (I never wore anything but occasionally a tinted moisturizer which does not cover these marks I have now). I have had 1 laser treatment my Doctor said would help make the red marks fade faster. Well, it did not work. Being told prior to this treatment, the red stamps would be gone in 1-3 weeks proved not to be true. I do NOT have sensitive skin; my skin usually heals quickly even though I am fair. I am fearing now these red marks are permanent. I appreciate it could possibly take several months for the full effect of Ellacor to be seen. I plan (after 4 more weeks of healing) to send the manufacturer of Ellacor treatment a letter with photos so they can see how this treatment works on some people. It should not be given to patients so freely. I should have had my Doctor do a one-stamp test somewhere on my face to see how I would react. I trusted my Doctor that she knew my skin well enough. If I am permanently scarred, I don’t know what I will do. I used to have beautiful skin (people always commented on my skin and continue to believe I am much younger) and was only looking for a lift to my skin so I might have my wrinkles fade somewhat. This Ellacor treatment is definitely my last treatment. I’ll use needle-less moisturizers and facial massages to improve the appearance of my skin.

I've had other RF microneedling treatments that did an amazing job but Dr Bergmeier made the choice to do this but then also Morpheus under my eyes and I don't know, maybe that affected the way it healed. Now I have permanent bags but also blotchy skin. I can't get rid of it. It's awful it's just awful I regret ever doing laser there ever. Just be careful with these treatments.
