Ellacor & Morpheus Treatment Ruined my Skin

In January 2024, Dr. Burgmeier convinced me to try the Ellacor treatment, claiming it would tighten my skin by removing tiny pegs of tissue rather than damaging the skin like a laser. He assured me it would help with minor sagging around my chin. While I was undergoing the treatment, he also persuaded me to get Morpheus around my eyes to address a mild festoon. Biggest mistake of my life. Instead of improving my appearance, it completely ruined my face. The treatments dissolved fat and collagen, making my skin more crepey and aging me by at least 10 years. My once minor festooning has turned into large, puffy mounds, and my jowls are more pronounced than ever. I went to several reputable doctors afterward who confirmed that he used both treatments far too aggressively, permanently damaging my natural collagen—something that CANNOT be replaced.

I have since consulted multiple surgeons about facelifts, but even they are at a loss regarding what can be done under my eyes. My face is permanently disfigured from his reckless and aggressive use of these devices.I am attaching before and after photos so you can see the devastating impact of his work firsthand. This has caused immeasurable emotional distress, and I can barely stand to look at myself in the mirror.

I am writing this to warn others—please do your due diligence when doing any new treatment and will even say to wait until many others have tried it and with good results. The damage he caused me is permanent, and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. Dr. B did the right thing by refunding my money and offered to try and correct the problem but the damage is done and now I am the one having to live with it.
