Loving my results - and can't wait to do it again

Loving My Results!

WORTH IT$3,500

Ellacor had been on my radar for over a year. I was eagerly following the clinical trials and perusing the before and after photos.

The concept of micro-coring struck me as a genius, minimally invasive way to tighten the lower face, jowls, and neck.

So…I did it in July! And…I can’t WAIT to do it again!

Chelsea, the PA at Dr Agha’s aesthetics center in Newport Beach, did my treatment.

I’d sound like a fan girl if I went on and on about how amazing she is so I’ll just say, professionalism, caring, and thoroughness are obviously some of the clinic’s values.

I was topically numbed for an hour, in a very comfortable chair with Netflix available as entertainment. I took ½ a pain medication that I had brought with me, and Chelsea did numbing injections with a cannula—the numbing injections were the least comfortable part of the whole experience.

Once I was numb and Chelsea began, the sensation in the treated areas felt mostly like pressure with extra sensitivity on the upper lip and chin (maybe a 4 on a 1-10 pain scale in those areas).

I followed her advice and purchased some post-treatment skin care to help heal more quickly and with less redness. The products did a great job—I’ll post my days 1-7 downtime photos; by day 10 I didn’t have any residual redness.

I think Ellacor is a great option for tightening sagging skin. Non-surgical, minimal downtime?? I can’t wait to see where they take this technology next!

Can you please post your downtime photos and day 10 with no redness. Plus the before/after. Just show lower face like I did.

My downtime with redness was really long -- I'm hoping I was an outlier, so very interested in seeing photos.

I'm going to work on posting my downtime pics Sunday, and I'm doing the treatment again MONDAY:) They'll do B/A pics of the 1st one and I'll see if they can email them to me to post!
I read a review that said the redness lasted a long time, and the skin kinda sounded exactly like mine...I bought targeted products for brightening and healing and made it my mission to use them up in 2 weeks! I think this really helped.

Please do let us know which products you used and if they helped. Good luck to you!

Chelsea recommended the U.SK brand and I have done the "Hydra Balance" vials--1/3 each time I wash my face and the "Precious Elixir Pearl & Caviar" serum. They have helped keep me hydrated and clear of discoloration and redness.
I did a heavier cream mask as a sleeping mask the 1st time by U. SK and it did a great job, but, of course, because I love skincare I am giving another sleeping mask a try--creme masque vernix, by Biologique Recherche:) hoping it does an even better job but I'm ready to pivot if it lets me down.
Post care is soooo important! Your results, and post treatment effects/symptoms can be impacted by how you treat your skin, what you put on it.
I've decided to stay makeup free for 5 days this go round since I have more redness, and I'm hydrating my skin with a mist from Body Deli ( Palm Desert). Everyone was making fun of me at work, and now they're lining up to be misted when I mist my skin:):)

Hello, I am going to be getting this done by Chelsea soon as well. Did you do any pre Ellacor skin prep? I know everyone is different, but how long did your swelling and redness last?

Avoid blood thinners so you experience less bruising (Vitamin E, Aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Fish Oils, Turmeric) Stop acids and retinols 7-10 days prior. Stay out of the sun, no tanning.
Help strengthen your lipid barrier with products that contain ceramides, niacin amide, oat beta glaucan...

I was a tad swollen the day of and the next day. Stayed makeup free for 4 days to be safe, and looked virtually untouched by day 10. I was tempted to simply do the Aquaphor post, but I bought the products that Chelsea recommended and I suspect they were helpful as far as banishing the redness.
I'm trying to load my downtime pics but am having some issues--retrograde! I'll work on it Sunday.

Hi, how deep did the needles go with your procedure please? I know it could be as much as 4 mm but im afraid that might be too much and the 'scarless' claim only works 1-2mm in
Thanks

My first was 3mm and I had a quick healing process and no scarring. My second was 4mm and the max number of cores(!), again no scarring, but redness that lingered for at least 6 weeks, and I'll probably do an IPL or V-Beam to mop up any residual.
The second treatment was even more impactful than the first and I'm going to go back for after photos sometime this month if I can find a day off! I will probably do a 3rd one in 2023, I'm so pleased with my results!
