I had the procedure done on Friday. So it is too soon to tell if it is worth it. I was told that it will take two weeks to see any results. I am scheduled to go back in for a second round in six weeks. I will keep you posted. I deliberately had it done on the Friday prior to. Three day weekend so I would have time to recover.
A lot of swelling afterwards- it looks like I have a baseball stuck in my throat.

I realize you haven't had 2nd round, but did they say the 2nd round would swell also? Thank you for saying take 5 days off work, that gave me a good idea on how long I need to keep it on the down low. I look forward to watching your progress and may consider this over Ultherapy. Thank you for all the information)

Kybella- three days after treatment
TwinmonSeptember 7, 2015
It is three days after my first treatment and my face is still swollen although not nearly as swollen as it was the day after. There is bruising as well. My thought is for the second treatment I will take about a week off so that I can look somewhat normal. Attached is a picture from three days after the treatment.

Thanks so much for posting a pic. Good tip about taking 5 days off after injection. Let us know when the swelling does go down for you!

It took my first time 3 weeks to be completely without swelling but I did see results! I've had my second treatment 2 weeks ago and seeing the same timing for me anyway. I didn't bother taking time off work as most people didn't even notice even when I came back from the appointment on the same day. I think that's because we are the most critical about ourselves :-) Good luck!

I have done 6 Kybella treatments. I start taking Arnica pills 4 times a day about 3 days before I have my injections and then continue for about 4 days afterwards. I also start using Arnica cream on my jawline and neck immediately after the injections and use the cream 3 times a day for a week or so afterward. For the first 3 days I use ice packs on my face and neck 3 to 4 times a day too. The Kybella has really made a difference.

I am not certain why the review is under the wrong Dr's name.
