Just did my 3rd and final round!

So these are my results after two treatments, just before my 3rd and final series of the treatments. Was it worth it? ...surely it isn't yet....not for over 5k when I could have done smart lipo for 2500...I just don't like invasive treatments so I opted for kybella. After all the swelling and bruising....I would say....get lipo!!!!!!

I'm so glad you are chronicling your experience like this, it is so valuable for the community to see.  I can definitely see results in your pics, but they are somewhat subtle.  Keep us posted on what happens with this final round.  I hope you see more changes.

I wish I would have done the same!! Thank you for sharing. I think after all the kybella...I am still going to get lipo. I am sad to say it....but I think kybella was a waste

You need to wait 6 months after Kybella for doing a lipo. Good luck.

Gosh ur honest & thorough documentation is so appreciated. How I wish I saw this last week. I'm so distressed by my Kybella/Skin Tite ll treatment. I had my first (out of 6) Skin Tite ll treatments ($400 for one/$1400 for 6 given every 2 weeks) & decided to add one Kybella treatment (2 viles--one for each side of underchin @$1600). I wanted to get rid of my little turkey gobble & tighten my chin. Told by same doctor as you that this would lose my small fat pad under chin, get rid of turkey gobble & Skin Tight ll would b awesome to add firmness. My sweet 84 yr old dad, whom I take after has turkey wobble/gobble galore. I wanted to 'nip it in the bud' & not let it get that big/lose/giggly. So 3 days after prev. mentioned procedures and having serious frog neck I'm freaking out. No bruising (I iced for 6 hrs. after treatments). I wore a 'chin strap' 2nd & 3rd night. So all helped with no bruising & reduced fat frog neck a lot. But I have the WORST profile (side view) as in no jawline & I look like I gained 20lbs. in the neck/lower face. Front view looks a"little" smaller but I have the worst jiggly, wobbly gobble EVER! On my post (on realself '61 yr old wants to lose little turkey gobble via Kybella or Coolsculpt) all 4+ dr's advice said this would NOT help. And that I should do laser/lipo/lower lift. And that has lasting results of 10+ yrs. So I've invested $3500 to have a bigger, fatter, more jiggly lose chin/neck than I started with the worst side profile ever. 20lb weight gain in my neck (by Procedures) and my jawline is not existant encapsulated in fat third chin. I am SICK about this...:(

Don't even get me started on Sono Bello where I went prior to this for free consultation. Excitedly scheduled laser/lipo for chin @$3500. During my pre-op appt Dr. David Santos discussed my $7500 laser/lipo/lower lift. Whoa! What! How did this price double? And Victoria Bisla (sales rep) said "You don't need lower lift and I'm so beautiful, laser/lipo will lift all this, tighten & get rid of ur little turkey gobble". Well, Dr. Santos (during pre-op) said " Forget about prices. Do you want this much or the whole thing? Look @the big picture? ". As the nurse chirped in " Victoria is NOT the doctor. And she should not have promised anything like that!" "Only Dr. Santos knows what's appropriate". Oh and that was after she informed Dr. Santos he was looking @ the wrong patient file. I was there only for laser/lipo. " But that will never get rid of this turkey gobble/lose skin". Uhm, OK, but that was red flag #3 for me to get the heck outta Dodge. I ran, not walked out of there. I felt like a high pressured sales pitch was hurled at me by a slimy used car salesman trying to sell me a total lemon.

I just got my second treatment 12/7. So it's been one week. I'm still not quite back to "baseline" or maybe I am I just forgot what baseline looked like. Ha. thank you for being so honest about your experience and results. It definitely makes me hesitate to schedule a third. Please keep up posted. I hope number three is the charm for you.

I appreciate the update! I've been following reviews and had planned to go in next month for a consult. I felt like I noticed a lot of change in yours, but I think that was probably more from swelling and after vs. the actual bedore and after. Bummer! I guess I'll do some more looking around before dropping the money on it. Like you, I wanted something less invasive than lipo.

I had my second treatment done on November 4th and today is the 14th. The swelling has gone down much faster this time. It was still very swollen the day after. I have some firm and numb areas still...I will post photos. I am starting to have my doubts and I kind of feel like maybe I should have gotten lipo instead...

Does Kybella have any side effects?
Where did he inject it if you wouldn't mind saying, just the "fatty areas" under the chin or on the face too?
Thanks

The side effects are pretty general. Swelling, tingling, soreness, hardness, and numbness in areas depending on if your doctor uses Novocain or not. These are the only side effects I have experienced and they are all temporary. Everyone is different. They do not inject it into the face or the sides of the neck. I asked

Whoops, some of my comment got cut off. I asked the doctor why they do not inject into the sides of the neck and face and he told me it's because we have too many nerves and things in these areas. But I hear in the future it will be injected into other areas as well as under the chin:) I hope this helps you!! Good luck:)
