WORTH IT

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age or 33, I am now 45. I waited 11 years to have reconstruction done. Even though I still had both of my real breasts I felt like NEMO- the fish from "Finding NEMO" (he had one normal flipper and one small little flipper) I had one side that was a DD and the other a very small C where the tumor had been removed and I wore a partial prosthetic.

HE IS THE BEST EL PASO HAS TO OFFER! I did not enter a cost since I was a Breast Cancer survivor my insurance paid for the procedure. I had a consult WITH a different doctor and felt icky after leaving the office. AS a medical professional I also had access to hearing stories about surgeons in the OR and actually met some of them. And some of their ATTITUDE and AIR of arrogance was too much to bear. Then I heard about this special Dr. Coming back to El Paso - to help women who need reconstruction and only had Medicaid to be treated with. He was trained at the same Breast Care Center that saved my life. I then met him in a class as a student. His calm demeanor and just down to earth personality was amazing. THEN I realized who he was! I knew that he would be the answer I needed and the one I could trust. My visits to his office left me calm and serene. I had no fear. The staff is amazing and caring and if you ask other medical staff they all said the same thing! WE LOVE HIM AND HIS WORK. Dr. Agullo made me feel amazing about the process. He has an energy/ Karma /light whatever you would call it that surrounds him. I have seen him in the OR from a working side as a medical professional and he doesn't ever raise his voice at any of the staff - and some surgeons actually yell at staff. I have recommend him over and over and over again. And will continue to do so! And would do it over again if I had too.

My gosh, I'm 35 and can't imagine going through this as young as you did. I'm so glad to hear that you are pleased with the way your reconstruction turned out.

Do you mind me asking if you ever considered having the DD brought down, instead of the small C built up?
