This was my second procedure with Dr. Taher, he...

This was my second procedure with Dr. Taher, he first did a wonderful job with Restylane for my tear troughs and was very honest and humble in his recommendations for that one procedure plus future fillers. He explained that my face was petite so I should be careful and never let anyone convince me of overfilling. I always wanted my small lips enhanced so after facing my needle fear the first time around, I decided to save up a little and go back to Dr. Taher. He did not disappoint in both taking my budgeting concerns into consideration and the final result. Since I trusted him from the first procedure, I didn't give much direction for my lips - I just said I wanted to actually have some and wanted filler in both upper and lower haha. He recommended 1 full syringe of Emervel (which is also made by the manufacturers of Restylane) and did an absolutely amazing job at making them look natural. He was honest when I asked if the pain would be comparable to my tear troughs (I barely felt anything then) and told me that lips are usually more sensitive, which mine were. The pain wasn't unbearable though, just a few seconds longer of that pinching feeling you usually get with needles. He used a topical numbing agent and ice pack before to minimize this but explained that the skin on my lips is thicker than most so it takes a bit more pressure to get the needle through. I don't really like silence while I have needles in my face so I personally enjoy how he sometimes narrates what he's doing and explains things while he works. The before pic was taken right before the procedure and the second was taken about 4 hours after. So far no bruising, minimal pain since the numbing agent subsided, and only 2 visible injection points which I'm sure will go away by tomorrow or the next day. The swelling is already going down as well which is bittersweet because I actually liked the extra-plumped up look! I'm looking forward to going to him again in the future, I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else.

The clinic itself is beautiful and upscale. Everyone at reception and in the nursing staff have always been polite and cheerful. Overall, zero bad experience thus far. Great job guys!

Will update with more pics as it heals :)

Very skilled, modest in his approach, and truly cares about the final results for his patients. Always takes time to answer any questions and makes you feel comfortable for follow-up conversations. Before my lip injection procedure he asked if I would be ok having a nurse who excels in lips do my procedure instead of him. When I told him I had trust issues, he was totally understanding and joked around about being the same way. His sense of humour is definitely a bonus! I've recommended him to my mom and would recommend him to any friends interested in filler work.
