Congrats first off. And second, I used BCBS of Georgia. I can't imagine it's much different. I had to have 3 months of nutrition, psych eval, exercise consult. No weight loss requirement. Then I paid $150 deductible to the dr and $150 to the hospital. There were other little co-pays and the cost of the protein for the liquid phase but that's it. They also covered 100% my overnight hospital stay. Good luck. Keep us posted.

I had lapband surgery March 2016,I have BCBS Medicare and Medicare paid for everything. I only had to pay a copay of I think was $250. I had to do a sleep test over night at the hospital,attend a seminar,see a psychologist.I had to have also show that I tried to loose weigh on my own,just so happen I had gone to a weight lost doctor. After everything was sent to Medicare I was approved without any problems.
