When I was 15 years old I was in a car wreck that left a hole in my cheek & a hole in my top lip. My gums were completely black and my nose was broken. Hours after the wreck I started swelling to where my cheek was the size of a softball and swollen enough to cover and close up my right eye.
A few months after my wreck I was referred to a doctor in OKC who specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The first step was to re open the hole in my cheek and remove all of the bad scar tissue, and the same would be done for my lip. second step was to fix my broken nose and my diveated septum. I remember the doctor bringing up the tip of my nose and how he could fix everything on my nose at once. I also remember telling my mom I liked my nose and didn't think anything was wrong with it although I knew it was broken & my septum was deviated. Her response was he is the doctor and if he says or thinks you need something corrected and fixed then we need to let him fix you. So I had my first surgery in 2005. My Cheek healed up well after my surgery.. my lip took a while.. and my nose was a wreck from day one. When I got my cast off I immediately was like I hate it! This is worse then my nose was before(broken and all ) I had this major cartilage poking to the right side of my nose that made it very deformed. I remember complaining to the doctor about it and he didn't act very concerned.. kinda like.. give it some time.. it needs to heal kind of thing. Which I did. A few weeks at my following appointment I brought it back up and I asked why the cartilage was still sticking out and He told me he just needed to go in and fix it. So my second Rhinoplasty was in 2006. Another nightmare. Absolutely nothing had changed! I still wonder what happened with my second surgery.. and now days I wonder why he even touched or worked on my nose.. for the last 12 years I have suffered major depression and it has all really done me in.. I would obsess with sitting infront of a mirror and literally just hating my face. Sometimes I was so mad I wanted to mess it up more.. Wondering why.. and how...I didn't even have matching profiles.. it was all a mess. SO I am now 27 years old & decided it's time to fix the mess this Doctor created. I have searched for 11 years for a doctor that for one was capable of fixing something so deformed, distorted, so twisted and so ugly. I felt hopeless...I was sure that there were plenty of doctors who would give it a try.. but would fail me like the first doctor did and I would end up un happy again. When it came to searching my number one thing I looked for was obviously the Doctors Portfolio.. and honestly none of them satisfied me, they weren't up to my standards, by this point I had to be very cautious and picky. So in my searching there was this one from Oklahoma which happens to be where I live. Dr.Ivan Wayne. I immediately thought, he is the ONE, this is who I have been searching for all these years and I 100% was thinking I had to go meet & see him! I was wow'd with his work! Just looking at his before and afters literally made me happy, and gave me hope. It took me 5 months to see Doctor Wayne and I can assure you it was all worth the wait. I had my Very First Pre Opp Sept 22,2017 & let me tell you... this Doctor already gave me life again. We did the 3D morphing and even those projected afters had me thinking how life changing this is going to be for me. His vision is like no one else.His heart is all in. I immediately scheduled my Surgery for Oct 19th, 2017. Less then a month of seeing him. I always knew he was the one and I couldn't have scheduled faster with him! I am now 7 weeks post opp & I couldn't be more happy! it still feels unreal..like a dream. I can never thank Dr. Wayne enough. I love my new nose, I love my new profile, and most importantly I love me.

2 months and 2 days since Surgery
8 weeks post opp. Got my hair done, so thought I would share a pic I snapped today ! Swelling has gone down so much. My nose is more beautiful everyday !

Amazing. Do you feel your tip had dropped since your last pics. Your tip seems lower than before. Did you get a strut graft in your collumela? You look beautiful.

Hello! No. I don’t, in the pictures from my 5 week result my chin and head was a slightly more up.From my before pictures it’s a dramatic diff in how much it hung before. One thing I hated! But I don’t feel that it’s dropped, could be from the swelling too! When I look at my pics the day my cast came off everything is smaller. But good question, I can see why you would ask. And nope, No strut graft. The only thing Dr.Wayne used was ear cartilage! :)

What a job on the nose!! Now that’s what I call a revision. He fixed the tip without taking it off! It seems like a lot of surgeons need some pointers from this guy. Most surgeons these days are just amputating instead of fixing the problem, it’s terrible. Congratulations love! You are stunning !

I agree! I feel so lucky. I look at my pictures and think “ now that’s a revision “ too :) I think all surgeons could use tips From Dr. Wayne!!! He’s a nose God. Thank you so much!!! That is kind of you. I really appreciate you commenting.

Before and After 8 week update
I literally get depressed scrolling through all my pictures before my procedure. Its so embarrassing. I'm so glad Dr.W fixed me! I am so happy now. Loving the new me
