I had a rhinoplasty in my early 30's and the results were not quite what I wanted. My nose was still too large for my face and I was very self-conscious about it. After I turned 40 I decided to try again, but was worried about the procedure and the results. I started seeking a credible and highly skilled surgeon, and I found that in Dr. Andrew Miller at Associates in Plastic Surgery! I'd consulted with two other surgeons, who were reputable and board-certified, but upon the very first visit with Dr. Miller, I knew I'd found the right surgeon. A woman named Eileen was my contact in the following weeks re: my health history, payment options, pre-op and post-op care, and she too was EXTREMELY professional and knowledgeable, whenever I called. The day of surgery, the surgical staff was fantastic. They were kind and professional, keeping the mood light as I was getting prepped. Surgery was about 2-3 hours. Frankly, recovery for this type of surgery is not fun. But there were no surprises; the staff and Dr. Miller had made me aware of what recovery would entail and the steps I could take to make myself more comfortable. I returned to my job 9 days later with only minimal bruising to my cheekbones. I could not wear eyeglasses for 6 weeks. I ADORE my new nose. Before, when I saw myself in profile, I nearly cringed. Now, I love my profile!
