I had a rhinoplasty in my early 30's and the results were not quite what I wanted. My nose was still too large for my face and I was very self-conscious about it. After I turned 40 I decided to try again, but was worried about the procedure and the results. I started seeking a credible and highly skilled surgeon, and I found that in Dr. Andrew Miller at Associates in Plastic Surgery! I'd consulted with two other surgeons, who were reputable and board-certified, but upon the very first visit with Dr. Miller, I knew I'd found the right surgeon. A woman named Eileen was my contact in the following weeks re: my health history, payment options, pre-op and post-op care, and she too was EXTREMELY professional and knowledgeable, whenever I called. The day of surgery, the surgical staff was fantastic. They were kind and professional, keeping the mood light as I was getting prepped. Surgery was about 2-3 hours. Frankly, recovery for this type of surgery is not fun. But there were no surprises; the staff and Dr. Miller had made me aware of what recovery would entail and the steps I could take to make myself more comfortable. I returned to my job 9 days later with only minimal bruising to my cheekbones. I could not wear eyeglasses for 6 weeks. I ADORE my new nose. Before, when I saw myself in profile, I nearly cringed. Now, I love my profile!

Dr. Miller made a great impression from the first few minutes of our consultation. He has a terrific bedside manner. He listened, was not condescending, and seemed to know exactly what I was trying to achieve. He was not standoffish, which I appreciated. He wasn't afraid to 'feel' my nose during that first visit and really study my bone structure. He was honest, he didn't make promises that it would be perfect. He specializes in revision surgeries, which can be very complex. I am THRILLED with the results. Dr. Miller gave my nose a slight swoop, and created some lift, and space, under the nose. He made the length of my nose shorter so that it does not extend so far out. It is a whole new shape, yet I still look like myself - just enhanced with a terrific new nose! I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Miller for both his personable and empathetic nature, and his expertise.
