Wow 3 injections? Is the fat not staying long term for you? Is that why you're having to have 3 done?

My fat injections went away in less than a year! I also have hard nodules that can be felt in my eye area from iT! thank God they can't be seen! TOTAL WA$TE OF $$

Yes that's why surgeons in Sweden and Korea only charge around $2300-2500 for full face fat transfer because they cannot guarantee results and the fat is often temporary. It's only here in the states where I see surgeons charge obscene amounts for unpredictable results. Leaving patients out thousands of dollars and potentially with more problems. Be very careful in choosing your surgeon for this procedure. The more a surgeon charges for this procedure the less ethical in my opinion they are.

No. You get 4 injections totall. Every 3 months ypu go back to get touched up etc. After 3 months they say what is left is what will stay so idk. Better then going 1 time having your face pumped full of fat and over filled so u look horrible then having it dissolve fast since it's harder for a huge amount to gain blood supply. Idk all I know is that was what the 1 dr I went to years ago dI'd. Dr miler has been great. I like how it's working. Subtle yet def difference. Very happy. Everyone metabolizes things differently too so I never expected it to even last as long as it's been

Fat is very unpredictable. The doctors lie telling us it will stay for years. Everyone is different as is every dr view. Again I wanted juvederm voluma which maybe lasts 18 months and costs more then my fatime transfer did in end so to me this is a win win. Plus every 3 months I get to go get more so it's nice. Get what I'm saying? Voluma I needed min 4 syringea. That's 800 each when i can get what I got for only 3200. Know what I'm saying? Ultimately if this fat stays ...good if not no difference since the voluma wouldn't have lasted long and I couldn't even fill the areas of the face I wanted for the same amount of money.

Thanks mama! U know what u initially always wanted sculptura. I felt was prob best aa far as before and afters and time it lasts. I was going to try juvederm voluma but my mother was like just get fathe if lasts longer. I went to Dr Joseph for that! Omg too funny. At the time I had resty under eyes so he was like wait before you do it ypu don't need it yet. I def will be doing it lol. Yeah im sceptical with fat.I had it years ago wI think dr Baxter.didbt last at all. Def was waste.thanks fir info girl

Wait, so you had fat done years ago and didn't last or are you talking about another filler? Sorry got confused, thought your latest procedure was the fat transfer which you're happy with. I was considered Dr.Joseph for Silikon 1000 as well but heard it can become clunky and harden. I wonder what wrappers to it in the winter

Hi blonde54, when did you have the Silikon 1000 procedure with Dr. Joseph? Have you had problems with it becoming hard/clunky? I see many docs mentioning these issues with Silikon 1000. I'm also looking into Bellafill. I would really like this one over the fat transfer. I'm in NYC and pretty much no doctor does it here and I don't know why... Perhaps it's so long lasting that docs don't like that because it would make them less money...

my siliken is 18 months old and has stayed in place! I looked so baggy eyed before the filler. Dr J can act weird at times, he injected a few spots next to my mouth without asking me and I had little lentil shaped dots. I massaged them like mad for weeks, they went down but can be seen in magnifying mirrors. I am happy with the eye area since thats more of a deep tissue injection site. My fat transfer was a WASTE of $5000 and it is all gone except for weird stringy globs that can be felt in my eye socket. Not seen but felt. The DR told me that any weight loss, heavy exercise etc dissolves all facial fat! As I said so far sculptra is great. I'm putting up a pic on my page. I'm over "60" so you can judge for yourself!

Thank you so much. Well not entirely sure because I go back 3 more times (included in amount of procedure) he says doing like this produces long lasting effects because injecting smaller amounts at a time gives fat ability to gain blood supply making it permanent

The price is 3200 that's for the initial procedure and injection and then u come back 3 more times for injections. He does it slowly so to be able to get longer lasting results

Thank you! Do You mean how they take and freeze then reinject right? YeahI only had the 1st injection and so far so good. I have to say he's Def made me happy lol. I know I can't answer for you but if you feel comfortable go for it. I like how he does it little by little rather then over fill and not be able to tell what needs further correcting. He's a great dr. I'm glad I posted so you can see. I was worried I was not able to find many fat reviews lol. Let me know if you decide :) I'll post follow ups from 2nd injections etc

Ok so I read you're story from the beginning ....I'm excited to find someone in NJ who just used the same Dr! So this is your 1st fat transfer? Or did you do it years ago? Or just restylane prior?

I did fat years ago from different doc. He used totally different approach. Over filled in one shot and that was that. I honestly liked the look but I was so uneducated about fat that I had no idea what I was even looking for. I just knew I wanted the nl folds gone. He ended up doing that, lip line and cheeks. I didn't need any of it back then but I was happy with outcome. I did resty at 26 under the eyes and the nl lines. I loved restylane. It lasted years under the eyes.

Ok thank you. I am going in a few days. I'm excited. Was your face bruised to wear you couldn't leave the house ? I'm just wondering. I've had restylane and I was fine the same day. BTW your first fat injection years ago didn't stay?

That's awesome! Excited for you! No I had minor bruising. Litterally looked like when I've gotten filler. Shall needle points. Tiny bruise or 2 but really went out that same day . When I had it years ago omg I looked like a freak for a few weeks lol. So swollen and bruised . That Dr just put a ton of fat in at once. I don't really recall it staying too long but I also didn't pay attention like I do now. Lol I had no hollows so any fat added was just for the hell of it. I Def looked good for a few years after but like I said I was younger. I'll look for old pics when I had it before and after. I'll show you
