20yrs Old Breast Augmentation - East Grinstead, GB - Silicone HP 345cc Under muscle , inframmamary approach
ORIGINAL POST
For years I have been considering a breast...
WORTH IT$8,300
For years I have been considering a breast augmentation to improve my confidence and self-esteem and to be able to wear particular items of clothing that my small breasts didn't suit. It was the best decision in my life I have made so far and am over the moon with the outcome. I had my surgery at the Mcindoe surgical centre based in East Grinstead and all the nurses and staff were incredible, caring and made my experience the best it could possibly be. I could not of asked for any better.

Awesome pix! What size does 345ccput put you at? I am 34B and my doctor wants to use 425-450cc silicone me...I am hoping that isn't going to give me D or DD like I've seen some women end up with. I am currently 34B and want to be a mid-full C cup.

345cc took me to a D cup at a 36 back but due to weight lose I'm now a 34DD. I was originally a large A small B. So took me up 2 cup sizes. This is with me going under the muscle as well.

My Journey - How I came to find my surgeon
So I wanted to go into more details about my whole experience with my Breast Augmentation.
Like previously posted having a breast augmentation is something I have wanted for years and I began saving at the age of 16. When I finally had enough money to finally compensate having the surgery I started looking into numerous sites. I knew all along I didn't want to go through a company just because I prefer the idea of meeting with your personal surgeon from start to finish. So I began my searches by looking into Private hospitals in my area and looking at the Cosmetic Consualtants. I then browsed each surgeons website, before and after photos and their history and narrowed it down to two surgeons. The first surgeon being an hr's drive away but having phenomenal credentials being 1 of 100 top doctors and 1 of 6 plastic surgeons in the country. Then a second surgeon more local to me who was recommend but wasn't as impressed with the before and after a compared to the other surgeon.
So no surprise on who I decided to book my consultation with my first choice Mr Paul Banwell his credentials and before and after pics Sold it to me. He practices at the Mcindoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead and his personal clinic (The Banwell Clinic) is located within the hospital. So Boxing Day (day after Christmas in the UK) I emailed the surgeons office for information about booking a consultation. I didn't expect to get a reply straight away because the offices were closed because of Xmas but the day of which they reopened their offices I had a reply straight away.
I ended up booking my First consultation for January 26th 2015.

My Journey- First Consultation
My first consultation was booked for January 26th and from the minute I walked into the room I was welcomed with a handshake and introduced to his aesthetic nurse. He began by asking me general questions to get to know me more as a person like age, job, height, current bra size, hobbies and any history of breast disease or any health problems in general.
He then examined my breasts and noted that I have a relatively good aesthetic breast bilaterally but with a slightly lower nipple.
Being a 36A cup I have always found it a nightmare trying to get hold of bras both in the UK and USA (while on holidays). I've always had small breasts with my mum and younger sister having relatively large breasts.
After examination he explained that I was a good candidate for breast augmentation. He then went through the concept, process and complications of the surgery both risks of the operation and related problems that can occur with implants. I was told to take a minimum of 2 weeks of work and advised not to do any strenuous activity for 4-6 weeks and how to care for the dressings.
We then went through implant types, incisions and placements. I knew from all my research that I definitely wanted a Round Silicone HP implant under the muscle and both me and the surgeon agreed on the incision to be under the crease (inframmamary).
We covered a hell of a lot in my first consultation but my surgeon believes in seeing his patients at least 2 times prior to surgery. He advised me to go away and think carefully about everything that we covered and to try the Rice Test between 280-320 as a starting point and add or remove rice until I get to a size that I like. Once I have decided I was told to then make a second consultation with him.
After meeting my surgeon I knew that I had made the right choice and went away and did the rice test.
