Bad Experience - Would Not Recommend

I had a really upsetting experience with Dr. Preminger. A few months ago, I went in for a consultation for my partially torn earlobes (earrings over the years had stretched out my piercings). What I thought would be a relatively simple procedure turned out to be a botched one.
The staff was extremely friendly and informed me that Dr Preminger would give me a consultation and if I was still interested, I could get my procedure done right then and there.
The consultation lasted a total of 2 minutes and the doctor explained the process, without going over the potential outcomes or downsides. She said it was an extremely simple operation with no cosmetic risks associated with it.
I agreed to do the procedure and was excited for the piercings to get closed up so I could later get new ones. Post-procedure, I came out of that office with two very differently sized ear lobes, and on top of it, one ear lobe had uneven ends (looks like a 5-year old stitched it back together). It's been a few months and I have tried to be patient with waiting for them to heal, though they still look really bad. I went back to see her and asked if she could do anything, but according to her, the only solution to even out the ear lobes would be to continue to shave down one (making the size difference even more noticeable).
I am so upset and because of Dr Preminger now feel extremely self-conscious about my ears, and am in the process of getting other surgeons' opinions. The very least the office could have done was offer me a refund for the botched procedure.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. :( I hope you can find the right surgeon to help out with your situation.
