How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Earfold
I am writing this review because it’s so difficult to find new reviews of earfold and I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I had earfold implants put in during July 2017. Five years on and the implant in my right ear eroded through the back of the ear and kept swelling up. I went back to my surgeon who said it’s best to have them removed.
I had them removed today, and they’re obviously swollen but they already look like they’re protruding again. I had hoped after five years the shape would have kept itself.
For the five years I’ve had the implants in I haven’t been able to sleep on my side normally and the clips have meant my ears we’re so sensitive nearly all of the time. I’m relieved to have them out but disappointed that my ears are now probably going to be protruding again.
All together it’s cost £4,000 to have earfold and have them removed.
