You're right, it can be a tough choice and nerve racking one to decide on facial surgery but in the right hands it can make an amazing difference! Nice to hear you had a good experience, your bruising did seem to subside quickly, how long did your dr tell you for the swelling? It's interesting that the healing time can vary so much for certain skin types. Do you think the pain from your body surgery helped distract from your eye discomfort at all? Bc I found the lower bleph to be more painful than just uncomfortable.

They told me to give the swelling a few weeks, its doing much better today, I added a new pic. I had a tummy tuck 12 years ago and ended up getting pregnant 9 years go. ( love my boy much, just miss the unflawed belly) I ended up with some excess skin and some thin stretch marks above the bbutton :( those can't be reomoved but, I had the skin from my abdomen and hips removed, with lipo to the hips, back and sides. I have a hip to hip scar, and to me, the eyes were more painful than the other procedures. I see your profile pic, you look amazing. What work did you have done?

You are very welcome. I was planning on doing a step by step blog on here about my journey. I was upset when I was waiting to go through this that I couldnt really find anything that was like that. So, Thanks to working in the OR, I was allowed to bring my camera in and start with pre and post op pics.
I had lunch with a friend today, she asked if it hurt or was "uncomfortable" like her doc told her. I wont lie, it hurt. But, it is so worth it. Even though I can't wear makeup yet and my bruising and swelling are still visible, I can tell my eyes are going to look amazing! My doc would have done inside the lid but, with my issues it wouldnt have gave me good results. I hand picked my entire surgical team, all my very best friends so, I got the insider scoop on what took place in the room. I had major fat prolapse, some was removed most was distributed to my cheek area to give me the younger face look again. Also, my ligaments were very loose and were repaired. I am happy its over and very happy I made the choice to do it. Good Luck!
