Hello. I decided to post my journey because this website helped me a lot with making my decision. Although I had to wait almost a month for a consult, I finally had it with Dr. Curves on May 30th which went well (consult was $50.00).I talked to a young lady name Marquita who will assist me with any questions or concerns I may have during this process. So far she has been very patient, nice and was able to provide a lot of information I needed to know. I paid my deposit of $450.00 and will be calling tomorrow morning to pay it off in full!!
I am scheduled for Lipo of the upper & lower belly, flanks and bra roll. My pre-op appointment will be on July 25th and surgery will be performed on July 26th. I will be traveling from Ohio, so if anyone has recommendations for a recovery house in Atlanta and supplies I will need please comment below!!! Also recommendations on a good garment to purchase!
I will keep you guys updated and post before pictures a little closer to my sugery date??

Fajas Fajas Fajas. Multiple in different sizes. As swelling goes down you will need a smaller size. Be prepared to spend money on these.
ABD pads and gauze for incisions, and to prevent leakage from drains.
Baby wipes to clean yourself up with the first couple of days because it will be very hard to shower with the drains.
Tylenol, stool softener, iron supplements. Plenty of water and pineapple juice. Protein shakes/bars to keep you energized.
Ice packs/heating pads.
That's all I can think of. My lipo recovery wasn't bad at all. I had a BBL with it and even that was not bad. If you can tolerate the pain/stiffness you will be fine.

The brand I use is LipoExpress. They have stores in Atlanta or you can order offline. Amazon has them as well.

Ohhh! LOL I’ve never heard of Nanas Spa but there’s this guy “PooPooLala” in Atlanta that’s CRAZY with the hands. That’s where I plan to go.

Pre Op Call

July 2nd I had my pre-op phone appointment with Dr. J’s office. The nurse on the phone just went over some general information I needed to know and she sent my prescription in to be filled. Today I picked up my prescription with a total out of pocket cost of $50.00 and my insurance covered the remaining cost. I picked up a total of 9 different pills. I will be flying into Atlanta on July 24th and my in house appointment will be on July 25th at 4:00 pm. I am looking forward to finally meeting the doctor and asking some final questions I have. If anybody has any additional tips I will appreciate it! I will post some before pics soon....

OK. Just let me know. I'm scheduled for lipo November 1st and just wanted to know what medication they prescribe.

Yes, its Dr. Curves. I'm getting lipo to abdomen, flanks, back bra roll, arms, and Mons pubis. Total price of $8850 with a $500 discount. Do you have to stay overnight?

No I don’t. I wonder if that’s something new that they are requiring you to do. When did u book your procedure?

No, they said since I am getting so many areas done at one time, I would have to be monitored. So I need to stay overnight at their facility. I booked it for November 1st, 2018.

I can't wait either. But I wonder if they can take out more than 5 liters since I am staying overnight. Something to think about
