I should have known better! I should have followed the signs that this place was not what it was cracked up to be. Dr. J and his staff are not as seen on TV. Like everyone else I did my research for 4 yrs and by seeing results of those he did on TV I felt that he had proven his skills and was legit. But From the get go his staff only presented themselves as pretty little queens walking around with the best job in the world because of the who they worked for. None of them where very knowledgeable about procedures and only have book information that I could very well read in his pamphlets. The person assigned to me was very young did not have any answers to my questions except basic information. The only thing that was definite was how they collected my money in its entirety but with everything else from preop phone consultations and answering questions they were ghost. I went to get a breast lift and augmentation and 360 liposuction. I’m so upset at how I looked afterwards. In fact the day after the surgery when I looked at myself I couldn’t tell if I actually had Liposuction or not as I looked exactly the same way I did before I went in. I only saw Dr. curves two times. The first time I saw him he was 2 1/2 hours late because he was busy filming with a celebrity. And then when he came in he only spent a total of six minutes with me after I drove through 4 states to get a consult. The second time I saw him was 10 minutes before my surgery and he only came in for two minutes to draw on my stomach. His paperwork says the doctor curves experience, but it’s more like the staff experience and you. The after care facility was an OK place to recover except the staff was so weird and not willing to assist me. As a matter fact they didn’t even know that I had paid for 7 massages because the actual clinic and the after care facility do not communicate very well. It was the most uncomfortable recovery I have ever had. They kept asking me where was my supplies like gauze, pads, tape, etc, when in fact his paperwork states that we do not need to bring supplies if were staying at this facility. For $600 day, how come they would not supply simple maxipads for their patients.The nurses at the after care facility explained to me that their problem was his mother who they call Nurse Kathy. She was the rudest thing I’ve ever encountered. Her only goal was to get you out of there after your time was up and barely had patience to deal with patients let alone her nurses. As soon as I was discharged and came back home I could not get anyone to answer the phone when I had questions. It was as if they got your money and they were done. My stomach is rock hard and my nipples are not the same. I was also told by one of his nurses that the only way I can see him is to ask ahead of time that he be present for my post op appointment and that Was only if he wasn’t in surgery or filming. Other than that I will continue to deal with his staff. Please seek out other places to get your work done and that won’t charge you simply because of their Drs. name. And theres a lot of other places that will truly care for you as a patient except for this money hungry facility!
