I am managing well so far. Just cannot wait to get the staples out. They itch and are irritating. I noticed a little drainage with a odd smell which I will call and ask the doctor in the morning. Also I can't wait to get the drains removed. Here are some pics.

I haven't had my procedure done quite yet. From my consult with Dr. Whiteman, he is the most wonderful doctor you could ever meet. He took time answering any questions you may have and he makes you feel comfortable during examination. I am very self conscious about showing any one this extra flab, but Dr. Whiteman makes it a little easier and even you find yourself laughing about it. His office staff are such wonderful people! From the time you sign in and until you leave, they show such kindness that helps set the tone for the whole appointment. Thank you all for such a wonderful consult yesterday 2/23/2016!! I forgot to do the ratings for Dr. Whiteman..lol..but I would rate him 5 stars so far as I have not had surgery yet. I am not comfortable with doctors but he made me feel like I mattered and took time to answer any questions and didn't feel rushed just so he could get to the next patient. He was an answer to a prayer.

On my way home yay!

I am finally on my way home. The doctor and nurses was great at Emory University Midtown. Now on my way to get some real sleep because being in the hospital you get very little of that..lol. More pics.

I am doing well. These staples hurt like crazy and thats the worst part of it to me. My follow up is next week and hopefully we can get those removed.

Two days Post-op

Had surgery on Thursday and everything's went well and continues to do so. Had 20 pounds of skin and tissue removed. Will post pictures later.
