Going For It!

I live in Florida but I had a consultation for a tummy tuck on 9/20/2017 with Dr. Jimerson (Dr. Curves) in Atlanta. The patient coordinator and Dr. Jimerson were both very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was advised that for best results I needed the tummy tuck with muscle tightening, lipo on my stomach, lipo on my flanks (sides), lipo on my upper back, lipo on my bra line and lipo on my lower back. Deciding to just go for it, I scheduled my surgery 10/18/2017. I started reading my pre-op package today and I realize there is a good deal of preparation that I have to do to make sure I have things in order. I am very excited but also busy working to get things lined up. I probably would not have felt this way had I allowed more time between deciding to do it and the date of my appointment but I certain I will get it all in order in time. (FYI- it was my decision to get it done so soon. There was no pressure from Dr. Jimerson or his staff.)

I am getting a tummy tuck with muscle repair. In addition, I will be having lipo on 5 areas- my tummy, flanks (sides), upper back, bra roll area and lower back.

My TT and lipo in 5 areas (tummy, flanks, upper back, lower back and bras area) took place this morning. I am so happy it's done! Now on to recovery.

So far, so good. My pain has been well managed with the meds Dr. Jimerson provided. The discomfort and pain I do have is when getting up and down to use the restroom. Also, not pain related but the drains without a bulb are super messy.

I will post in a few days with updates but I will say that the toilet lift and walker (things I saw someone else post they had) have been worth their weight on gold. They have been a HUGE help.
