I actually followup with my doctor tomorrow as we’ve been rescheduling my 5 month visit for a couple of weeks. At this time, there is very faint numbing. I believe this is the final look that I’ll get from this procedure. I’m not unhappy but I also think the reality is, it is what it is. Definitely a difference but I’m also about to turn 55 and skin elasticity is different st this age. Here are photos from today. I probably won’t post again until my 1 year anniversary, though they say 6 months is full or complete healing.

Hi, read your posts with great interest. How do you feel now about the procedure? Would you do it again?
Best wishes, C

Thank you. I would do it again because there is a difference for sure but would adjust for the reality that lipo takes out the fat only but skin elasticity is an assumption, mainly based on age, and you might not, probably won’t get a more chiseled look for the jaw line if you’re in my age range. Now the doctor mentions “marionette lines” that can be adjusted with fillers. I’m not starting that because it’s not permanent. Otherwise I’m pleased. And I’m focused on keeping overall weight down, reducing my natural fat pockets.

They say it takes up to 6 months for complete contouring to take place. I’m at almost 2.5 months so maybe this is my halfway point. I’m pleased but I still have a soft roll of something under my chin. I try to massage it when sitting around at home. I did not go to a cosmetic massage center. May decide in a month if I will spend another $400.
